Get only one invariant IP address as addressee when using webhooks for alerts
When using webhooks, alerts can unfortunately be sent from a large number of IP addresses. This is problematic for our network team and security requirements. It would be great if there was a way to get only one invariant IP address as addressee, possibly by putting a proxy in between.

Add alerts on disk IOPS and CPU IOWAIT %
To help catch heavy disk workloads before they become problematic, it would be great to have alerts on:
- disk IOPS percentage utilization for disks without burstable IOPS
- burst credit utilization for disks with burstable IOPS
- CPU IOWAIT %70 votes -
Enable Removal of a Subset Documents From Online Archive
Hi,
We'd like to have the ability to remove documents from an Online Archive. Mainly based on a date, but possibly other criteria.
Thanks!

Allow setting of advanced server parameters such as disable flow control, ttlMonitor and redactClientLogData
For some more advanced/demanding use cases, advanced server parameters are key to provide the performance/latency or security that applications will require, either due to contractual or complaince obligations.
FlowControl throttles writes for consistency sake, but for very low latency use cases it becomes a factor for "perceived" client SLO breach. In such particular scenarios, the cost consistent across all replicas is higher than low latency reply.
redactClientLogData is important to ensure complaince with several sectors such has identity management.
TTL monitor should be able to be controled via API call to better manage the migrations between self-managed clusters and Atlas.

Hi, i would like to ask for you to make the table view under collections when we choose a particular database to be reactive. when i press a header we want it to sort the rows from asc to desc or vise versa. thank you

Online Archive - Automatically defragment data file and release disk space after archiving
This is a request for Atlas to automatically defragment the data file and for the WiredTiger storage engine to automatically release empty space to the operating system, for clusters with active Online Archive.
After implementing Online Archive, and seeing data be archived to S3 based on our archiving rule, we expected the available cluster storage to increase since Online Archive had effectively deleted data from the cluster.
However, MongoDB Docs states: "When you archive data, Atlas first copies the data to the cloud object storage and then deletes the data from your Atlas cluster. WiredTiger does not release the storage…

New Default Alert for Connection Timeout
It would be helpful if there is a default alert in the Atlas UI for a connection timeout, rather than this only being in the log file.

Add a simple log filter in the Atlas log API call
In the Atlas log API call, add a new Request Query Parameter which allow people to set a phase or string, to avoid downloading log lines including this phase or string.
So people don't have to download large quantity of log messages that they don't need.
For example the the NETWORK log message between replica-set members.

Document Atlas Cluster Tier Performance Expectations
Document approximate Atlas cluster tier performance expectations that application development teams could reference when requesting an Atlas cluster (IOPS, max connections, network performance).
This information is currently available in the Atlas UI.
Other cloud providers such as CloudAMQP do this: https://www.cloudamqp.com/plans.html.

Scaling cluster connections independent of cluster size/tier
Currently whenever you want to increase Atlas cluster connections, you have to scale up Cluster Tiers. When an application doesn't require additional disk storage but only additional connections the additional cost is difficult to justify.

Zabbix
We should have Zabbix integration to monitor the performance of MongoDB Atlas.
Zabbix is OpenSource popular monitoring tool available and many of enterprise organizations use this tool.
Please add Zabbix in Integrate with Third-Party Monitoring Services.

Improve handling of ROLLBACK state
Recently we had a member of a replica set in a sharded cluster enter
ROLLBACK
state. We just happened to notice it in an automated email sent by Atlas about primary elections which showed one of the members inROLLBACK
state.Fortunately for us the writes which had been reverted were not critical and we were fine with that. However, this could have resulted in serious data loss which could have gone unnoticed until a customer reached out to us.
The handling of a situation like this one should have been much better and more user friendly. We should have…

Time based auto scaling
Our production server workload is less after 5 pm till the next day morning at 6 am CST times. We are running MongoDB in full capacity even on off-peak times. It's not possible for someone to manually downscale the cluster during off-peak and I don't think the CPU utilization based auto-scaling is working for us. I would like to choose auto-scaling between CPU based or time based as set my own time window and choose the auto scale/down-sclae.

Send alerts to Azure Log Analytics
Similar to the 3rd party integrations already in Atlas, it would be helpful to have integration with Azure Log Analytics for alerts and metrics instead of writing it ourselves with the Atlas API

Provide an interface that can stream logs directly to Splunk.
I'm trying to get logs from MongoDB Atlas to Splunk, and there's currently no native interface to do it, so instead of streaming to Splunk directly, I'm having to execute https calls in intervals, unzip them and then ship them to Splunk. Many products have interfaces to stream to Splunk directly, and it would certainly be handy in this situation.

Cancel restore
There should be an option to stop once the restoration is given. Or there should be an option to revert a backup restore. This is required because we can restore an old production back up to Production only. If by mistake we do that we should be able to revert back.

Increase monitoring metrics resolution retention time on views of 1min & 5mins
The speed at which usable monitoring metrics data (1m, 5m) is purged and reduced to 1hr is way too quick.
After 1hr, the ability to analyze these metrics that are crucial to investigating a performance issue were lost and hindered the root cause analysis.
I would suggest that 1m or at least 5m resolution metrics be retained for at least a week before being purged.
