Expose Locking Metrics
One of our customers have asked if we can expose locking metrics through the Atlas UI to assist with investigating suspected lock contention issues.
We have this information in FTDC and our customer feels it would be helpful for them to have this information too.

Atlas UI enhancement
Hi,
Atlas UI is displaying "Database Deployments" earlier it used to be as cluster or clusters.
- When we hit the create button all it talks about "CLUSTERS > CREATE NEW CLUSTER"
- Right side top corner, we can also see it states "All Clusters"
- Terraform resources/attributes talks about Clusters
- Only place we see in the home page "Database Deployments"
Our customers are getting confused with Database Deployments with Databases within the clusters. Customers are thinking they need to create more database (database deployments) if they want to have for their application, which is not true. They can create multiple database in…

Include cluster labels in the billing usage details
Similar to how AWS includes tags/labels in their billing dashboard, I'd like the ability for my cluster labels to be included as a column in my billing usage details (or even the exported CSV).
This will allow me to categorize my billing usage as granular as clusters in addition to the current method which is by project.

Copy/Duplicate Cluster configuration
It would be really useful to create a new cluster based on an existing configuration.
Snapshots are supposed to be loaded into clusters of the same configuration, but having to set up the configuration manually is prone to human error. Having an option to copy the cluster configuration would be helpful.
Support suggested the following workarounds, but the option should really exist in the UX, given that snapshots can be taken and loaded in the UX.
- use the API to create all clusters so that the config exists in code
- use terraform to create clusters3 votes -

Recommendation to the change the tier cluster
Based on CPU and memory usage metrics over a certain period of time, a recommendation could be made to change the cluster tier to a higher or lower one (inform which cluster it would be recommended to change to) and notify through some channel, such as eg email/slack.

webhook
Have the ability to specify template for the webhook being send. Currently this is static information and it would be better if it is possible to customize it. This will also make the integrations with not supported 3rd parties more easier and it doesn't have to create a mitm service that translates the atlas webhook to some other format.

Improve OpsGenie alert mis-categorization
We noticed that alerts sent to Opsgenie using the Integrations is using "https://api.opsgenie.com/v2/alerts" URL, which causes Opsgenie to mis-categorize the alerts for all customers, according to Opsgenie themselves.
Issue re-production steps:
* Create a team in Opsgenie or use an existing team (use a team that is NOT used for the Default API integration)
* Create a MongoDB integration in that team and take note of the API key
* Create an Opsgenie Integration in MongoDB and use that API key
* Generate an alert or Test the integration
* Verify in Opsgenie that the test alert did…1 vote -
Allow atlas integration with Jira to create tickets directly based on Atlas alerts
Atlas alerts setup should be able to directly create a ticket in the Jira board to the respective team. This will resolve the burden to check email alerts for alll the setup alerts.
Instead, we can setup the critical alerts in such a way that it will directly create a Jira ticket.
Thanks,

Ability to create a custom alert based on a query run at configurable interval.
There is currently no way to set up an Alert based on the results of a query directly in Atlas.
One can achieve this functionality using realm and triggers but that can be difficult.3 votes -
Allow more than one DataDog API Key
When I enable the DataDog integration in Atlas, I can add just one DataDog API Key. It'll be great if I could add two or more DataDog API Key.

Don't overwrite explicitl role with default organisation role configured in identity provider
we have user created in Atlas on Organisation level with specific org role. If we configure Identity Provider and set some default role, then after first login this user will receive this default role and original role will be lost. So, even after disabling identity provider, user will have this default role.
Suggestion: explicitly granted roles should be keep untouched, but not be applied in case of active identity provider.

Additional metadata for alerts through the API
The lack of metadata is blocking us from having parity with opsmanager on our production alerting capability. Currently, when some alerts come through the API, there is no information to parse so you can't tell where the issue is happening. Even adding just the cluster would be helpful. As of now there is so little information that alerts using the data dog integration are worthless.

AWS multi-region key (CMK)
While using AWS multi-region key, if a customer selects a new region for their CMK, Atlas will trigger a key rotation process which could take some time to complete depending on the disk usage. Can we introduce native support for AWS multi-region key so Atlas does not have to re-encrypt data if CMK ID is the same in the new region.

Support serverless OLAP workloads
I can use scondaries to support OLAP workloads however I'd like autoscale read-only and analytic nodes using the serverless cost model.

Copying gbs of collection data from one project to another project
Currently it is highly time consuming process of copying a 100gb collection from one project to another project. There is no faster and proper way of copying the data. This feature is highly needed. Because each environment resides in different projects. If someone want to copy only handfull of collections from one project to another(dev to prod and vice versa) then its a nightmare for doing this kind of job. Tried mongomirror and mongodump feature but those are not quite impressive.
