In Atlas, create a Fixed Update area (for the blue status bar) to prevent content pane from shifting down
Create a fixed area for the blue bar status update after creating a Snapshot or after an API call is executed, so the content pane does not shift down and risk the user from inadvertently running a "Pause Cluster", "Terminate", or other command.1 vote
While the "Status" of "Taking Snapshot" is informative in the Atlas UI, not knowing whether it will take another 10 minutes or 5 hours is a HUGE problem for production use. Please add % done indication similar to that of the restore feedback. CLI alternatives are NOT a replacement for a first-class UI experience.1 vote
Would be great to have IPv6 support in Network Access section.
Currently, it looks like it supports IPv4 only.12 votes
We have long names for collections and most times first few letters are always same, it would be great if we can stretch the left panel width so that we could see the full collection name.6 votes
When opening a ticket, this UI doesn't organize by Organization. It shows all the projects in one drop down.
If I have two "production" projects, then I won't know which is which.
The UI needs an Organization filter.1 vote
It would be great to display the number of results when filtering a collection.
Currently, the only way to have this information is to click through all the pages of results until reaching the last page. But often, the only information I need is the number of results, and I don't care about the results themselves.
But it belongs more in this category, IMHO.3 votes
when attempting to view collections we run into long delays or a failure to load. Especially When loading list for large instances it always fails to load and there are some performance issues for larger instances as well for loading new pages.
We frequently leverage the data explorer in Atlas, and this is the most painful part of our workflow.
Would it be possibly to search for specific collection instead of loading all collections every time we open the collections tab?1 vote
Thank you for enabling biometric/hardware security keys.
Please allow us to enroll multiple security keys into an account.
Anyone who uses hardware keys appropriately has backups.
For mission-critical applications this is not a question
The lack of multiple key enrollment (multiple yubikeys for example) renders the biometric enrollment more or less null.1 vote
When configuring the compound shard key for Global Writes, currently, there is no way to set the compound index key into unique. Besides, this can not be achieved through the Terraform deployment.
Set unique index is a very common thing. I wish MongoDB Altas can support this feature in Altas UI and Terraform.
We can we expect any documentation/tutorials and the like for Maui? It's Microsofts near future and I'd rather skip Xamarin and start
We can we expect any documentation/tutorials and the like for Maui? It's Microsofts near future and I'd rather skip Xamarin and start with MAUI as it prepares to roll out. I just don't want to leave my comfort zone (.NET) just yet until it shows I must.1 vote
It is too hard to do the changes over command prompt in todays rapid changing world. Admins must be given and option to configure machine and orchestrate nodes using an WEB GUI like .NET Blazor / MAUI to create web ui + Desktop + Mobile [or react like since everything is json here]
This is for self hosted solutions especially community version. A minimal UI is great to have and will make better user experience.1 vote
How about a better way to login. The normal way... When I switch between accounts I'm sent through a completely unnecessary rabbit hole between accounts with this new chrome profile garbage. It's really inconvenient. It's like rolling the dice if you can login sometimes.1 vote
Please there should be a section where a user can select light/dark theme because it improves visibility for users with low vision and those who are sensitive to bright light,
makes it easier to stay focused whilst working.
also, prolong the battery life of a user PC/smartphone.15 votes
I just had an atlas workshop. The trainer changed a cluster and got the "We are deploying your changes ..." blue bar at the top.
But he also got a "AUTOMATION STATUS" button in there, showing a very helpful table reflecting the changing cluster members and tasks in real time.
I asked in the chat and got the info: "Unfortunately, this automation status button is only available to MongoDB employee accounts."
I'd like to see this feature released into the wild.5 votes
Filter on Collection / Database name should be retained after the click of either the collection / database
It's pretty annoying that once you filter say xyz in Namespace / database / collection, it shows the filtered database and collections but once user clicks on any of these UI looses the filter string and navigation resets.3 votes

Show project-id (of external GCP project) in VPC peering overview (on /network/peering).
I noticed that it's even there in the response from the server already (from the GET request to https://cloud.mongodb.com/nds/<cluster-id>/peers) as
So this is really just a matter of adding one single column to the UI table.1 vote
When creating an API Key pair at a project level, there are options to add an IP address. Unfortunately, after the initial creation, there are no options for Project Owners to modify this setting. This is currently requiring Organization Owner access to update. This request would allow modification of Project-level API keys to be modified by Project level owners.4 votes
