Stretchable / Customizable Collection Panel width
We have long names for collections and most times first few letters are always same, it would be great if we can stretch the left panel width so that we could see the full collection name.

We can we expect any documentation/tutorials and the like for Maui? It's Microsofts near future and I'd rather skip Xamarin and start with MAUI as it prepares to roll out. I just don't want to leave my comfort zone (.NET) just yet until it shows I must.

A basic login feature. Not forced to use google.
How about a better way to login. The normal way... When I switch between accounts I'm sent through a completely unnecessary rabbit hole between accounts with this new chrome profile garbage. It's really inconvenient. It's like rolling the dice if you can login sometimes.

Support the set compound index key into unique for MongoDB Altas Global Write
Hi MongoDB,
When configuring the compound shard key for Global Writes, currently, there is no way to set the compound index key into unique. Besides, this can not be achieved through the Terraform deployment.
Set unique index is a very common thing. I wish MongoDB Altas can support this feature in Altas UI and Terraform.

Filter on Collection / Database name should be retained after the click of either the collection / database
It's pretty annoying that once you filter say xyz in Namespace / database / collection, it shows the filtered database and collections but once user clicks on any of these UI looses the filter string and navigation resets.

"Automation Status" button for all
I just had an atlas workshop. The trainer changed a cluster and got the "We are deploying your changes ..." blue bar at the top.
But he also got a "AUTOMATION STATUS" button in there, showing a very helpful table reflecting the changing cluster members and tasks in real time.
I asked in the chat and got the info: "Unfortunately, this automation status button is only available to MongoDB employee accounts."
I'd like to see this feature released into the wild.

Show project-id of peered VPC
Show project-id (of external GCP project) in VPC peering overview (on /network/peering).
I noticed that it's even there in the response from the server already (from the GET request to https://cloud.mongodb.com/nds/<cluster-id>/peers) as
gcpProjectId.So this is really just a matter of adding one single column to the UI table.

Backup Cost Estimator
As backup retention policy or amount of data changes, it is difficult for customers to easily estimate or visualize how these changes will impact cost of backups. It would be helpful to have further visibility into this.

Make platform inclusive of Single Name Users
Hi Team,
Today it is mandatory to use Single Name user in MongoDB. However not all have last name, family name etc. It is important that the system needs to inclusive of people like us who are named only with our name, to be part of any system and MongoDB being document based DB, it should be easy make this change and we will be able to see our profile name, certificate name with our LEGAL NAME than just random escape character for last name for those who don't have the last name.2 votes -

I have profiles on several different learning platforms and the one feature that I really like is that I can often time give a public URL to someone who wishes to see my profile and the courses I've completed. It seems that MongoDB University doesn't yet offer this feature. It would be really nice if it did!

Show the hostname of the cluster in the list of clusters
Currently I have to click three buttons just to see the hostname of the cluster. Please fix this :-)

Project level Key Pair IP Address add controls
When creating an API Key pair at a project level, there are options to add an IP address. Unfortunately, after the initial creation, there are no options for Project Owners to modify this setting. This is currently requiring Organization Owner access to update. This request would allow modification of Project-level API keys to be modified by Project level owners.

Copy data from aggregation view
I cannot count how many times in a week I want to execute fast query with the aggregation view (which is very convenient to use) and copy/paste the output data to my team. However, I cannot which is very annoying since I have to copy BY HAND the output result.

Update PayPal email address
I have found that once a PayPal email address has been captured, your system won't let me update it, even if I delete it and replace it with completely different information on PayPal's end. PayPal email addresses should not be immutable information. Our organisation has had to change the address we use for PayPal due to receiving spam on older address a number of times. It will happen again. You will need to either sync your data with PayPal, so it is updated and correct, or let customers change it for themselves.

On the login screen, display both email and password field at once
On the login screen, both the email and password fields should be visible at once.
This would provide many benefits:
- Password managers would be able to fill out the info correctly on the first try
- Users would be able to Tab through the inputs
- Users would avoid a pointless intermediary state
I assume the vast majority of Atlas users know exactly what to expect from a login form so I believe hiding the obvious doesn't help anyone.

Collapse sidebar on small width device
Collections view is not good for small width. It displays horizontal scrollbar and I hate it.
Try something to expand the main content, such as make the sidebar collapsible.
