Cluster events - create, modify, delete
Add an alert category for cluster scale events such as creation, modification and deletion

Cancel restore
There should be an option to stop once the restoration is given. Or there should be an option to revert a backup restore. This is required because we can restore an old production back up to Production only. If by mistake we do that we should be able to revert back.

Cluster Update Details in Activity Feed
When a cluster update happens and things change such as the certificates, why wouldn't this show in the activity feed? The only thing noted in a recent issue we had was "cluster update". If we could see the details of the update we could have resolved our problem quickly without opening a case.

snapshots without indexes
It would be great to have the option to save Atlas backup snapshots without indexes. When using TTL indexes, when the data is restored, it is automatically removed because it is expired. Being able to create snapshots without indexes would save a lot of time to the current workaround.

Add the possibility to add a description for IP's in access control list for API keys
In the Atlas UI, allow to add a description in the IP's allowed to use an API key. This may improve security and ease management as it allows to easily maintain this list up to date.

Support Private Endpoint TO customer's VPC/VNet
This would allow a Private Endpoint to connect FROM an Atlas Project TO a customer's VPC/Vnet (using AWS PrivateLink or Azure Private Link), for accessing private services like a private webhook for alerting, LDAP, and/or KMS

MongoDB Atlas Provider for AWS CDK
We use AWS CDK to deploy our infrastructure. Currently there is only a Terraform provider available to automate the MongoDB Atlas deployment. We would like to have such a provider also for AWS CDK.
In a first step this provider should support:
- mongodbatlascluster create, edit and delete clusters
- mongodbatlasdatabaseUser create and remove usersLater full feature set like in Terraform should be supported.
Currently we use a self written provider. But this has hundreds of lines of code and means a lot of maintenance effort. For our teams this additional effort can be a reason to…

Allow 100.64.0.0/10 IP ranges for VPC peering
add more IP ranges for VPC peering on Google GCP network in Google Cloud environment. https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/vpc#valid-ranges is supported. Docs only show RFC1918 IPs. https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/security-vpc-peering/#in-configure-your-network-peering-connection-2

OCSP stapling support for Atlas Clusters
What is the problem that needs to be solved? As a user (MongoDB Driver) you'd like to check revocation status of X.509 certificate via TLS Certificate Status Request extension (also known as OCSP stapling) instead of doing outgoing HTTP connection to OCSP endpoint from a user (MongoDB Driver) side.
Why is it a problem? (the pain) MongoDB Server v. 4.4.X introduces OCSP stapling functionality, however OCSP stapling is not enabled on Atlas Clusters with MongoDB Server v. 4.4.X.

make empty teams possible
It is currently not possible to create empty teams of remove all users from teams.
We would like to arrange our access management through teams. For our production environment we want a 'read only' and an 'admin' team. The admin team should be empty at all times, except in the case of incidents where we want to add specific users to the admin team to be able to solve the incident.6 votes -
Profiles for Autoscale heuristics
Case #00731969
Is it possible to tweak the scale up settings so that my clusters scale up faster than they do today?
I think it is best to analyze my clusters and figure out how long they are staying above 70% and then average it out, and if equal to or greater than that average, I would like my clusters to scale up.
Once scaled up, I want it to remain scaled up for the next ~2 hours at least and only scale down if usage gets really small enough for it to justify scale down.
Right now, the auto…

Make Connect modal button to a location accessible from any cluster tab
I often want to connect to the cluster after browsing in the Collections tab (e.g. to run some test queries via the shell).
The Connect button (available in the Overview tab) makes connecting easy, but this button is not visible in the Collections tab -- I have to click into Overview or the Clusters page to access the Connect modal button.
Can we surface a Connect button so that it is clickable from any tab in the cluster page?

Cloud backup to new cluster
Two different ideas for this:
-When building a new cluster having the option to build it using a cloud backup snapshot for DR when a cluster is down-Same idea to restore to a new cluster but from the restore target dropdown IE Restore to New cluster which opens the create a cluster workflow with the cloudbackup snapshot section populated

VPC management at the organization layer (cross-project VPC) in addition of projects layer
In order to match with GCP Host project/service projects mechanisms (network resource is managed by the host project and used by its service projects), which is usefull for companies having a large number of GCP projects to manage, in different business units, it could be very usefull to be able to not manage VPC inside projects only, but also at Organization layer: an Atlas admin could create an "organization level VPC", and peer it with a GCP host project, and several Atlas projects could 'consume' this VPC, by running clusters in it.
That would permit to avoid having to create…6 votes -
Viewing Collection Pages
Would like the option to view collection pages by 10, 20, 50, 100. Along with ability to move to (<first) (last>). Similar to mLab

M30 Cluster Tier option with 4 CPUs
There is a gap in the Cluster Tiers for clients that have high CPU requirements but lower disk space requirements. We run on a M30 Cluster where we max out the CPU when running aggregations, we use little of the available disk and do not want to move to a M40.

Sharable Atlas URL query
Add a way to share queries on Atlas UI. We could have something like:
https://cloud.mongodb.com/v2/<id>#metrics/replicaSet/<id>/explorer/<db_name>/<collection>/find?query={"email": "..."}
(URL encoded, of course)
That would open the Atlas UI in the collections tab, auto-insert and auto-run the query. This would allow non-tech users to look at data easily.
(People using the link would have to be logged in and also have the necessary permissions to access those pages, as they normally would)

Allow Atlas to send additional metrics to New Relic via integration
This is a request to add some additional metrics to those that are currently sent from Atlas to New Relic when the integration is enabled.
The specific metrics of interest here are:
- Disk Space (%) Used (or Free)
- DB Storage
- Query TargetingHaving pointed out the above metrics specifically, I would also say: the closer that the metrics sent to New Relic via the Atlas integration can resemble those available in the Atlas cluster Metrics page, the better.

Add replica set name to cluster info main page
It would be nice to get quick access to the name of the replica set from the cluster overview page.
