provide more details on the replica set elected a new primary
today the details on this event are very low and have only the replica set name which is not enough, can you also add the correlated cluster name to the exposed details?
more over if this is something that can be monitored by the metrics going to Datadog?3 votes -
Add support for profile configuration file in the Terraform provider
To be able to quickly change which account we use for the Terraform provider without having the keys in the terraform variables, supporting profile config file like what aws does for it's provider would be a great help for us.

Specific Privilege selection on Org Level
It would be great to select specific privileges for on the Organization Level as well. Similar to what one can do on the Project Level. E.g. Org Member but without being able to see billing.

Allow registering multiple security keys in MFA
Currently, only a single security key can be registered as an MFA device. As a backup to this key, only other mechanisms such as authenticator apps can be used. It would be nice if multiple keys could be registered to avoid having to use a different method as the backup.

Recreate Account | Sign Up | MongoDB Atlas
There are many new web developer come on MongoDB Atlas. There create there account and start working but don't know any thing about MongoDB. Something goes wrong on there setup and decided to recreate there account and follow all the instructions. But after deleting there account they see that they can't use there old email address.
Because of this situations that I faced. I don't want these to be faced by someone else so I recommend MongoDB Atlas to remove this security policy. Guys, Do you support me?1 vote -
Activity Feed cluster updates does not show old and new versions
Cluster updates do not show the old version Atlas is updating from, or the new version Atlas is updating to. It'd be great to see both of these pieces of information in the activity feed.

Show overlapping Alert configurations between different scopes
I wish there was a way to show an overlapping alert configuration. When alerts are defined on a global level but overridden on a project level, it is very hard to tell if something was overridden.

A default ‘Send to’ method for Alert configuration
I want to be able to define a default ‘Send to’ method that will be automatically configured during Alert creation.
The default is email, but when we use a 3rd party integration like PagerDuty, it is quite tedious to create alerts manually. The only quick and perhaps correct way is through automation such as MongoCLI or Terraform.

Custom templates of Alerts to deploy across many projects within an organization
When I make a new project, I don’t want to have to redeploy the same set of Alerts I've already configured for another project.
I want to be able to create custom templates/policies of Alerts at the organization-level that can be applied to projects within the organization. This template should be editable at the project-level after it is inherited to allow unique Alert configuration if a project requires.
These templates should keep track of all edits that I make to default Alerts and new ones that I configure, including threshold values and notification settings.

Single page to view all configured Alerts
I want to be able to look through all of my Alerts for all of my projects on a single page to easily understand their state. I'd also like features to help me make sense of the aggregated list. (some type of sorting or filtering)
I struggle to understand the state of all of my Alerts, across all projects, because there isn't a centralized place to view all of them. It's also hard to maintain a large set of alerts for a given project because there's no way to sort/order them.

Allow access from anywhere button to be a separate UI permission
"allow access from anywhere" button should be a separate privilege. This would allow the ability to add it to a role. The goal is to allow developers to log into the control plane, use the UI to add 1 single IP(theirs)...but not open up IPs to all(0.0.0.0/0).

Have a configurable "active_for" alert parameter to only open alerts when conditions last a specified duration
Some conditions are only worth an alert if this conditions persists for some time (usually minutes).
One example: some poorly performing background queries produce spikes in the "Scanned objects/returned objects" metric. We only want an alert if the ratio remains consistently high for x minutes/hours, instead of triggering the alert whenever a workload has a short spike that crosses the threshold.
My perception of the current state is as follows: once the metric reaches 1000, atlas will open an alert right away (it will show up in the UI under open alerts), but will wait with sending notifications until the…

Need Monitoring Feature for MongoDB Charts data transfer usage / alerts
We need to use MongoDB charts but we want to ensure that we don't go beyond the 1GB Free data transfer threshold limit. As per support there is no such monitoring feature . Requesting to add a new feature that will:
1) Help us to automatically monitor the data transfer usage for MongoDB chart
2) Alert the team via email in case it reaches 1GB free threshold limitThanks
