Being able to enable / disable Database users
When managing accounts and permissions, it could be great to "disable" an account before deleting it or reseting its password.
By example GCP ServiceAccounts have this feature. It helps to restore a service of an account faster if this one is still in use.
It will also help to set a kind of "policy" where inactive accounts get deactivated for a period of time and then deleted if not reactivated till then.

Profiler chart scale
In the profiler page, the charts scale do not make sense.
The maximum values in the Y axis are very high which make the investigation very difficult if the actual values are smaller.
I suggest that Y axis values would be dynamic to each the research.1 vote -
online/cloud version mongodb shell
It would be nice to have and online/cloud version of mongodb shell. I am trying/learning mongodb. I have server in the cloud but to use mongodb shell I have to install it. My "desktop" is raspberry pi, and it's pain to install mongodb on it, because it's all compiled C++.
Alternatively mongodb shell written in python or java would make it much easier to run on any OS.1 vote -
allow control of pagerduty urgency (currently high) so that alerts can be managed better
Some alerts you need to know about immediately, others, the next working day will suffice. Allowing the user to set the urgency for each alert will allow a greater control over pager fatigue without having to bypass PagerDuty

Custom metric option on Datadog
Currently, there is no option to use the custom metric option when using the Atlas Datadog integration.
We would like to use this functionality in Atlas : https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/guide/mongo-custom-query-collection

Display better Slack notifications
Currently, MongoDB Atlas Slack integration only send RAW text.
For easier reading, it would be nice (if not a must have) to leverage Slack notification format to have colors that represent at least the state of an alert.
Here is a suggestion from common things we can see in other tools:
* alert.open: Red
* alert.close: Green
* alert.update: Yellow
* alert.acknowledge: Grey
* alert.cancel: Brown
* alert.inform: BlueBonus: Leverage Slack App capabilities and have a
/
command to acknowledge an alert directly from Slack.3 votes -
Document Atlas Cluster Tier Performance Expectations
Document approximate Atlas cluster tier performance expectations that application development teams could reference when requesting an Atlas cluster (IOPS, max connections, network performance).
This information is currently available in the Atlas UI.
Other cloud providers such as CloudAMQP do this: https://www.cloudamqp.com/plans.html.

Using Aggregation Pipeline Builder in $facet stages
Writing more complex $facet stages (3+) without Pipeline Builder is a pain,
so being able to use that in that type of stage would be a huge help!
I mean being able to swap and use Pipeline Builder to every each branches of sub-pipelines in a $facet stage1 vote -
Alerts on Configuration Changes
It would be nice to have an alert configurable when any change is made to the cluster configuration. It helps with compliance that there is knowledge of such changes without having to manually search and activity feed.

Being able to create Views from aggregation pipelines in Atlas
In Compass we can save pipelines as Views.
That would be great also in Atlas!
Same for both Views and On-Demand Materialized Views.1 vote -

payment
Add PIX payment method. I don't know how much of a hassle it's to implement such payment method for brazillians, but I think it would be one of the "killer feature" for us. Thank you.

I'd like the ability to be on premise and burst into Atlas when needed.
As an system administrator running MongoDB EA, I'd like the ability to be on premise and burst into Atlas when needed.

Allow custom duration for Temporary Users
In our software development lifecycle, we have sprints that are 2 weeks long.
We create temporary users for Software Engineers that are "onCall" during a sprint. The role is moving to a different engineer each new sprint.
It would be great to be able to specify an explicit
deleteAfterDate
value or a custom duration greater than the current 6 days.3 votes -

Confirmation of action requested on "Pause Cluster" link
Please add a confirmation of action requested when someone clicks on the "Pause Cluster" link, anywhere in the site.
We had an engineer accidentally click on that link and it caused a production outage, until it spun down and then back up.
Not sure if there is a confirmation on "Terminate", and I'm unwilling to test it, but any other potentially harmful action should be asking if the user really intended to do so.
Thanks!
