Credits API
I need an API that will allow access to the items under credits in the billing page.
This will allow me to pull this information daily into our master usage database to support our dashboards6 votes -
Ability to Drop Indexes via API
Allow users to not only add indexes via the API, but also allow them to drop indexes the same way. Also incorporate index creation/deletion into Terraform.

Smart backup scheduler (deferring snapshot backups X minutes based on load metrics)
seems like a potential enhancement for the snapshot schedule to consider cpu/connection/etc load metrics before deciding to run or not

zoom resolution icons
At certain browser (Chrome) zoom settings, the checkboxes disappear. Boxes that are unchecked remain, but some (not all) of the checked boxes are just not shown.
Unfortunately I have to use these zoom levels (67%) to be able to see sufficient information on my dashboards. Can the icons (checked boxes) be made to appear properly (not blank) at all zoom levels?1 vote -
Atlas UI (Data Explorer): Export feature .csv/.json option for collection integrated into (JS) MongoDB Atlas Cloud
Have an Export feature WITHIN Atlas UI (Data Explorer) where user can perform (select collection and export as .csv/.json directly from the website without using Compass/data dump) option for collection integrated into (JS) MongoDB Atlas Cloud.

Collections View Document - Vertical Scroll
When I expand a document with a large string entry, I have to scroll horizontally to view the entire string. This expands the UI well beyond the width of my screen, and scrolling horizontally over the string makes it difficult to view the entire entry.
When clicking on a long string within a document, can this expand vertically?

Sharable Atlas URL query
Add a way to share queries on Atlas UI. We could have something like:
https://cloud.mongodb.com/v2/<id>#metrics/replicaSet/<id>/explorer/<db_name>/<collection>/find?query={"email": "..."}
(URL encoded, of course)
That would open the Atlas UI in the collections tab, auto-insert and auto-run the query. This would allow non-tech users to look at data easily.
(People using the link would have to be logged in and also have the necessary permissions to access those pages, as they normally would)

Include cluster node list in getOneCluster
Include cluster node information for all nodes in the cluster in the response JSON for the getOneCluster API call. As hostnames are needed for other API calls, there ought to be a better way to get cluster node names.

Have the ability to downgrade
Currently Atlas doesn't support the ability to downgrade major version. I know with Ops Manager on-prem you can do that, which is helpful if you find issues during an upgrade. Would it be possible to get the ability to downgrade one major version on the roadmap?
As of today, if we have issues with an upgrade, we have to build a new cluster with the older version, export and import into the new cluster. That's a much more painful process including the fact that you have to change the connection strings of your applications to point to the new cluster…

Ability to search for filter conditions in Atlas Alert builder
It would be helpful to be able to search for a trigger condition in the Alert builder when creating/editing an alert.
Currently, you need to scroll to find specific conditions, but the list is long so it can take some time to find the particular one needed.

Recently resumed clusters must remain running for 60 minutes
At the moment when you try to pause a recently resumed cluster you get the following message;"Recently resumed clusters must remain running for 60 minutes to process all queued maintenance".
Obviously this requires me to check back in Atlas UI in an hour or so just to pause the cluster. Instead would be good for UI to schedule a Pause to be executed as soon as it's possible.

Referral links & referral benefits
MongoDB Atlas should give each user a referral link, and a benefit of this could be that a free account could get increased storage space depending on how many/if the referred person starts paying for Atlas services.

Edge Computing Support for MongoDB Clusters
We extensively use Atlas for tools, utilities as well as production apps. We would like to have the option to create an Edge MongoDB Server on-premises pointed to specific clusters in MongoDB.
This would allow everyone working from a specific location to hit the edge server instead of sending all calls over the internet to Atlas.
The edge server should automatically keep itself in sync with Atlas.
It should be low maintenance and auto updating - set it and forget it.
TFS Proxy Server is a similar idea which Microsoft had for teams working from offshore/ remote locations to improve…

Disk throughput in monitoring
Currently we have disk IOPS in monitoring (both read and write).
One of the metrics that play a role to decide whether to have a provisioned disk or not, at least with AWS hosting, is the disk bandwidth.
For instance with a large enough disk, like 2000GB, I have max 250MB/s bandwidth with an unprovisioned (gp2) disk (the maximum), but could go to 500MB/s with a provisioned (io1) disk of that size.1 vote -
Enable live migration tool to work with Global cluster configuration enabled
Currently, there is no Live migration tool option while enabling Global Cluster Configuration in Atlas. Please treat this ticket as a FEATURE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST to make this happen.

Allow individual Atlas database user to connect from different specific IP address only
The feature request is to allow individual Atlas database user to be able to connect from different specific IP address, instead of compulsorily having the whitelisted IP address apply to all database users.
I.e.
UserA can only connect from ipA
UserB can only connect from ipB4 votes -
Atlas Alert for Remaining Credits
MongoDB will email Atlas customer when the prepaid Atlas credit is estimated to be exhausted within 30 days.
However, it would be good to have an alert for this in Atlas, e.g.
Alert if the remaining prepaid amount is lower than ... <an amount>

There is no logical order to the list of ips.2 votes -
Add replica set name to cluster info main page
It would be nice to get quick access to the name of the replica set from the cluster overview page.
