Need a Instance with unlimted storage .
We are seeking an instance with 2 vCPUs, 4 GB of memory, and a storage capacity of 500 GB.While we understand that the available M20 instance type supports the desired vCPU and memory specifications, we noticed that the maximum storage capacity for M20 instances is limited to 256 GB. Unfortunately, this falls short of our project's storage needs.
Considering this, we kindly request assistance in identifying an alternative instance type or solution that can meet our requirements for 2 vCPUs, 4 GB of memory, and a larger storage capacity of 500 GB. We would appreciate your guidance in selecting an…1 vote -
Backup for project user
Hello,
it would be good if we could better granulate which users have access to cloud backups.
Currently only a project user with Project Owner rights can perform backups, restores etc. It would be really cool if some users, such as developers, could be given the right to work with the backup, and at the same time not have to have the Project Owner right, as it is not wanted to be able to add users, create and delete clusters etc...

Support europe-west4 in GCP
As the title says really, we want to make extensive use of serverless but can't do so until you support west4. You support west4 on dedicated instances, but support say there are no plans for west4 on serverless, which is disappointing.

Serverless queries could return their RPU & WPU along with the results
Currently it's impossible to control the serverless spending. By being able to log and alert on queries resulting in huge RPU/WPU usage during development it would be safer to release changes without billing surprises

Modify MongoDB Autoscaling Logic for CPU Usage Interval
Currently, the autoscaling feature in MongoDB is configured to initiate scaling based on the last 1-hour CPU usage. The trigger for autoscaling is set at 75% CPU usage within this hourly interval. However, there is a requirement to adjust this logic to a more granular level.
Request:
The request is to modify the autoscaling logic in MongoDB to consider the last 30 minutes of CPU usage instead of the current 1-hour interval. Specifically, scaling should be triggered if the CPU usage exceeds 75% within the last 30 minutes.

Migrate specific collection / database from a replica set to sharded cluster(not empty) without downtime.
It would be great if MongoDB has a tool to migrate specific collections/databases from a replica set to sharded cluster and vice versa. Migrating data with this tool should not cause any downtime in both source and destination clusters.

Specifying who receives notifications for auto-scaling events
Having ability to manage wich roles receive auto-scaling notifications when a cluster scales up or down.
Now this is limited to Project Owner but this feature will be helpfull to manage notifications to inform other Team Members wich doesn't have to get all permissions related to Project Owner.

Granular cost and inventory details
We are building a unified portal to view our databases and almost all other managed cloud providers like AWS provide instance level/node level view of clusters.
Currently, there's no way for me to get instance level/node level inventory details. Also, when billing/cost is generated, it's generated on a cluster-level basis. Since we now have separate sizing for Analytical nodes and Electable nodes, it's better to separate out the cost to be at an instance level.
Again, all cloud providers like AWS do give us instance-level costing for EC2/RDS so I don't see why that can't be technically possible.

Support terraform plan with ORG_READ_ONLY role
An API key with ORGREADONLY should be sufficient to run a terraform plan. Afterall its describe is "Provides read-only access to the settings, users, projects, and billing in the organization.")
However, this is not the case: checking settings for "Cloud Provider Access" [1] and "Encrypting at Rest" [2] fail due to mission permission. Read-write project permissions like GROUP_OWNER on each project are required.[1] https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/reference/api-resources-spec/#tag/Cloud-Provider-Access/operation/listCloudProviderAccessRoles

Include more actionable data in Alert emails
Currently the alert emails just link to the profiler page with nothing selected. This makes it guess work if there are multiple items in the profiler to examine. If you are unable to check the profiler within 24 hours of the email, no data could exist specifically for the alert email.
It would be much more actionable if the email alerts mentioned the collection that was being queried, the appName that triggered the query, and a direct link to the query in the profiler showing complete details of the query that triggered the alert.
This would make triage near instant…

On-Demand Pricing
I have been an enthusiastic MongoDB user for a couple of years now. My business is very small and the utilization of the database is very irregular. For example, I only have a higher workload on one day of the week and on most other days I only have a load in the morning and often nothing at all at night and at weekends. That's why the smallest available plan that can also be used in production (M30) is actually too expensive for me. A pay-per-use pricing concept would be ideal and I'm not sure whether this would be possible…

Adjust the Blue Mode into the actual Dark Mode
Thanks a lot for the newly added "Dark Mode", it looks awesome. One suggestion would be to shift the blueish tone to a more grey tone instead. As we know blue light disrupts sleep :)

As a foreign company, it is necessary to have the VAT number of the invoice to proceed with corporate expense deductions.

Lock a user account
We have an occasional need to disable/lock an individual database user. Either because of a run away process or inactivity. We do not want to change the password or drop the user as we may need to reenable the user quickly with the same permissions and password as before.

Provide a more granular breakdown of monthly Atlas billing (in the Azure dashboard)
Provided more flexibility/transparency into the monthly Atlas spend for Azure marketplace customers (in the Azure billing dashboard). Ie. allow users to break down spend by project, tag, cluster etc.
Currently, only a single total monthly spend value is available in the Azure dashboard, with no additional details.

Remove the requirement to have an API Access List CIDR before being able to manage backup schedules
The issue is described in this github issue, specifically in the linked comment: https://github.com/mongodb/terraform-provider-mongodbatlas/issues/222#issuecomment-855905952
Here is the requirement as described in the API docs: Remove All Cloud Backup Schedules
Removes all cloud backup schedules for the specified cluster. "This schedule defines when MongoDB Cloud takes scheduled snapshots and how long it stores those snapshots. To use this resource, the requesting API Key must have the Project Atlas Admin role and an entry for the project access list."
https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/reference/api-resources-spec/#tag/Cloud-Backups/operation/deleteAllBackupSchedulesOur request is that the requirement to have an API Access List to manage backup policies be removed.
At the very least,…
