Atlas Endpoint Service "Description / Tag" Field
Currently when creating an Atlas Endpoint Service, there is no way to add a "tag" or "description" to the endpoint.
When a large number of endpoints are created, it because very challenging to identify which endpoint aligns with which customer service or application. Giving customers the ability to add "tag" or "description" metadata, would help give them better visibility into their configured endpoints.
This is specifically requested by an Enterprise Atlas Customer - please reach out to me for details / specifics.

Set schedules for pausing clusters
It could be incredibly helpful if we had a way to set a schedule to pause any given cluster as well as a schedule to un-pause it. This would help with cost savings and would allow to shutdown development clusters on weekends, after hours and holidays.

Support Dynatrace integration for monitoring with Atlas
This is a request to support an integration with Dynatrace for monitoring MongoDB deployments in Atlas.

Automatic information when shared cluster is throttled
When a shared cluster has reached it's limit and the cluster is throttled, an email should be sent to each db-owner affected. This would save your customers AND your support a lot of time troubleshooting.
Right now there is no way for a db-owner to see this information, let alone get that information, except for asking support for help.

Alerts Messaging Customization
At the moment, it appears one cannot customize the messaging or subject line of the alerts. This makes it difficult to categorize the alerts. For instance, we would like to categorize alerts into different severity levels, such that severity level will help determine the level of attention that is paid to the alerts when they trigger. If it is possible to prefix or append some customization code and message to either the subject line and/or actual message, then a monitoring team can use the custom code/message to determine the severity or category of the alert when it triggers.

Request for Addition of Seoul Region to Reduce Latency
Sure! Here's the translation of your request:
A brief description of what you are looking to do
I would like to request the addition of the Seoul region because there is currently only the Japan region, which results in a 2-second delay for requests. How you think this will help
Adding the Seoul region will reduce the latency and improve the overall performance of our application. Why this matters to you
This matters to me because the current delay is affecting the user experience and efficiency of our services. Reducing latency is crucial for maintaining high performance and user satisfaction.17 votes -
Share API key cross organizations
Today, it's not possible to share an API key between different organizations (https://www.mongodb.com/community/forums/t/sharing-api-key-between-different-organizations/190785/13)
It makes it impossible to restore snapshots from one organization to another automatically. It's very important for us, as we need this feature to clone our customers clusters into our organization

Add Teams to a Project
Allow to add a team to a project and set roles.
Split the creation of the project and the role assignment.

Scaling cluster connections independent of cluster size/tier
Currently whenever you want to increase Atlas cluster connections, you have to scale up Cluster Tiers. When an application doesn't require additional disk storage but only additional connections the additional cost is difficult to justify.

MMS Alert for Balancer Down status
please provide an option in Ops Manager to monitor the balancer status and add to alerts?
So, we will know if balancer is not running.Note:
Normally the balancer would be disabled during backups and during a scheduled Balancing Window downtime.
I believe that the Balancer has a duty cycle of either 10 secs when nothing recently to balance, or 1 sec when there's a bunch of balancing to do.
Any alert would need to account for these:
the changelog shows chunk moves commanded
the actionlog shows balancer state change history
the settings collection has the balancer state17 votes -
Disable Query Targeting alert notifications for $changeStream operations
Change streams require scanning of the oplog and cannot make use of indexes, meaning that $changeStream operations frequently trigger Query Targeting: Scanned Objects / Returned alerts that cannot be actioned. It would be ideal to allow $changeStream operations to be filtered from the Query Targeting alerts.

Customize CPU threshold for Autoscaling
Currently, to autoscale a cluster to the next tier, the "Average CPU Utilization must have exceeded 75% of available resources for the past hour."
Problem:
Some workloads remain near the 75% CPU threshold, given the nature of the workload. This can cause constant scaling events to occur which creates unnecessary noise.
We don't want to turn autoscale off because this is a beneficial feature to keep enabled on the cluster.
Solution:
We want to be able to configure the CPU % threshold for cluster tier scaling. For example, rather than 75%, we'd like the option to set the threshold to…

max database users not visible
We need more than 100 database users, and have had the limit raised for existing projects, but new projects require us to have the limit increased. There is no way for us to verify which projects have the default 100 database users and which ones have had the limit raised. It would also be nice to track the percentage or number of database users available as a metric.

profiler - add filter by "appName"
Using the profiler to narrow-down slow operations is great. One thing sorely missing is the ability to filter by "appName" - some of our top slow queries are from dev team working with compass or running experimental code vs the database as opposed to our main production app. We want to be able to ignore these when we perform the analysis - should be simple to implement as the metadata in the profile statistics already has a field with the desired information - "appName"

Allow custom date range to be submitted in Query Profiler
Currently the Query Profiler can plot queries that were logged up to 24 hours in the past.
It would be helpful to allow for visualization of a custom date range older than 24 hours ago, rather than only queries logged within the past 24 hours. This could help with RCAs for events that occurred more than 1 day ago, and also help teams who collaborate to investigate queries over a time period longer than 1 day.

Expose the killOp() action when creating custom roles in Atlas UI
It would be nice to have the
killOp()
action exposed when creating a custom role in Atlas.I also think it would make sense to grant this action to the
atlasAdmin
role, but at a minimum I feel that Project Owners should be able to create a custom role that is allowed to kill ops that were initiated by other database users.16 votes -
Show driver/application/user metadata in Query Profiler query summaries
It would be helpful if the Query Profiler showed the driver and user metadata associated with the connection over which a particular query was run.
After clicking on a particular plotted operation in the Query Profiler, the sidebar pops up and shows execution statistics and structure of the plotted op, but doesn't show anything about the driver/application/user that issued the command.
This query summary would be more actionable if the driver, driver version, application name, and user were also displayed in the query sidebar (these details may be recorded in a separate log entry from the command itself).

Monitoring Integration with Splunk
Unlike a connector (https://feedback.mongodb.com/forums/924145-atlas/suggestions/40688308-splunk-connector-for-atlas) it would be useful if Alerts could be sent to Splunk.

Add "Maintenance Completed" Alert Option & Activity Feed Item
There are existing alerts that will notify users when a Project Maintenance Window is "not needed"/"scheduled"/"started" but it would also be helpful to add an alert for when maintenance has been completed. This event currently appears in a project activity feed as "cluster update completed". This alert would help users who need to manually verify if any of their applications need to be restarted following maintenance events.
