Support Private Endpoint TO customer's VPC/VNet
This would allow a Private Endpoint to connect FROM an Atlas Project TO a customer's VPC/Vnet (using AWS PrivateLink or Azure Private Link), for accessing private services like a private webhook for alerting, LDAP, and/or KMS

Allow 100.64.0.0/10 IP ranges for VPC peering
add more IP ranges for VPC peering on Google GCP network in Google Cloud environment. https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/vpc#valid-ranges is supported. Docs only show RFC1918 IPs. https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/security-vpc-peering/#in-configure-your-network-peering-connection-2

Support optional fallback to source cluster after cutover in Live Migration
Live Migrate allows for migrations from non-Atlas clusters into Atlas by syncing data from the source to the Atlas destination, and then cutting over the application to direct workload to the destination.
It's possible to test the application on the destination before cutover, but after cutover, there's no way to sync data in reverse in case unforeseen issues arise and it's necessary to fall back to the source (or another) cluster again.
Having a "fallback sync" option could help with this.

Support for delayed replicas
It would be great if Atlas provided support for hidden, priority 0 delayed replicas. For workloads that do not need real time data or situations where data recovery is needed, a delayed replica would be the fastest way to mitigate both of those scenarios.

Profiles for Autoscale heuristics
Case #00731969
Is it possible to tweak the scale up settings so that my clusters scale up faster than they do today?
I think it is best to analyze my clusters and figure out how long they are staying above 70% and then average it out, and if equal to or greater than that average, I would like my clusters to scale up.
Once scaled up, I want it to remain scaled up for the next ~2 hours at least and only scale down if usage gets really small enough for it to justify scale down.
Right now, the auto…

Billing Alerts Improvement
We find the conditions for billing alerts to be very limited. We were hoping we would be able to setup an alert that triggers when a certain threshold of our total subscription amount has been used for better monitoring. For example, >= 75% of the total subscription amount is used.

Improve "Host has index suggestions"" alert by including the hostname
The "Host has index suggestions" alert notification does not contain any reference to the host/deployment that triggered it making it hard to figure out where it came from. A hostname reference would be very helpful.

Using replica set tags for invoice categorization
Customer would like replica set tags added to the invoice as a column, in order to further categorize costs. In some instances, the customer has multiple products assigned to a single cluster, and putting the product name in the cluster won't suffice.
The current solution is to use the Invoice API, and then call the Cluster API, in order to programmatically build out a CSV containing the cluster tags as an additional column in the CSV.8 votesWe recently released tags on database deployments. You can apply tags to new or existing clusters or serverless instances.
https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/tags/
We are planning to have these tags displayed in billing Invoices and we'd love to hear more from you. Reach out to me if you'd like to provide additional feedback about this feature request.

Enable setting the security.redactClientLogData parameter.
We're using Atlas to store PII (HIPAA), and we need to store the log files for an extended period of time, but we don't want any PII / HIPAA data to be stored in the logs.

Unique VPC Peer CIDR
Prevent the same VPC Peer CIDR block, is it currently possible to have 2 projects with same CIDR block, which requires us to delete our clusters and peer before creating new clusters
There should be a way to prevent them from having same CIDR block or the ability to change the CIDR block AFTER they are created

Alert for WiredTiger Cache
Hi,
Can you please create an alert for WiredTiger metrics, such as used cache?
We had several cluster instances going over the 5% of used cached (dirty data) and would like to be notified when it happens.
Regards,
SergeiThis is needed in order to determine whether

Ability to change First and Last Name
It would be good if users are able to modify their First and Last Name after account creation.

Billing Alerts on Atlas
Currently the alerting for billing is based on fixed values. It would be better to have the option to set up billing alerting based on increased percentages instead of fixed values. This way it would be easier to set up applicable cross-functional alerts for enterprise organisations to monitor costs.

Allow the creation of an Atlas Resource Policy based on database user authentication type
We would like to create Atlas Resource Policies based on the user authentication type. In a more specific example, we would like to allow ip("0.0.0.0/0") only when the database user authentication type available is Federated Auth. Another way to look at it is to deny ip("0.0.0.0/0") when the database user authentication types of x.509 or SCRAM are being used.

Identify users via API that are regular project users versus federated or built-in (e.g., charts) users
Expand the API to allow a way to identify and differentiate federated users and other non-manageable users (like "Charts User") from regular project users in MongoDB Atlas using API output, similar to how the Atlas UI visually marks federated users. For example, the Atlas UI displays a greyed-out edit icon and the ScreenTip displays a "Roles are managed through federated role mapping".

Performanse advisor node type filter (to exclude analytics)
Performance Advisor should allow selecting node types to exclude analytics nodes.
In most cases, analytics queries don't require indexes as queries are very different and might be filtered by any field.

Storage autoscaling of storage should also occur when Atlas searches are being rebuild
When the storage requirement exceeds the available storage when rebuilding Atlas searches a warning is issued and manual intervention is needed.
I would like that autoscaling of storage will occur when needed for rebuilding Atlas indexes.
This would save us time and no need to react to warnings.7 votes -
Alert for the absence of a snapshot backup policy
It would be great to have an alert option that notifies when there is a cluster configured without a backup policy defined.
This alert option would be helpful to ensure any defined company backup policy is audited and we are notified if a policy does not exist, or if someone accidently removes any defined policies on a give production cluster.

Improved deletion protection against malicious users
Currently, the only option of preventing malicious admin users from deleting a cluster with all its backups is to enable a backup compliance policy. However, this policy is quite the beast with complex processes and guarded by a single user account (which could then as well be the malicious one).
It would be good to have some less impactful way of protection against malicious users.
For example, when deleting a project in Google Cloud, an email is sent to all project owners and the project including all of its data can easily be restored within a period of 30 days.…
