Send alert when there are performance advisor recommendations
I would like to have an alert setting when MongoDB Atlas's performance advisor has any recommendations.
Currently there is no way to determine if the performance advisor has a suggested improvement on the main project console page.
Our prod project has a lot of clusters(with more planned). It is cumbersome to go in and check each one manually.
We released Performance Advisor alerts on Week of Aug 7. It is available as a default alert.

The alert is titled "Host has index recommendations"

Hi, That's great to hear. With a pre-existing cluster how to we activate these alerts? - I cannot see any mention of "performance advisor" on the "Alert Settings" page.
Very many thanks,
Matthew

Hi Simpson -
Thanks for the feedback. We are currently building an alert for performance advisor. We are expecting to release it in the next few months.
Thanks

Even today you can already have an alert like the following:
Query Targeting: Scanned Objects / Returned above 1000
Is that not something that goes into the direction you are asking about?

Hi Simpson,
Thanks so much for suggesting this. Good news: we are actually working on this right now!
