Add option to alert on "degraded" state of cluster
I would like to setup an alert for the cluster state 'degraded', which isn't available as an option at the moment. Could you consider adding this as an option?

Database user credentials rotation with AWS SecretManager
- Similar to the HashiCorp Vault integration, you should offer the option to use AWS SecretManager in the same way
- Rotating dbuser credentials is a common best practice. Many people that are "AWS" shops chose AWS-native solutions over 3rd- party.
- We use SecretManager, so this would save us from having to write something of our own.

pagerduty - User certificate expiration NDS_X509_USER lack of details
The alert type NDSX509USERAUTHENTICATIONMANAGEDUSERCERTSEXPIRATIONCHECK sent to pager duty using integration key miss some important information, such as, the name of the certificate that is about to expire. We have to open MongoDb atlas to see the details.
I want to have all the details, the same when we send the notification by Email.1 vote -
Administrate user rights for the Billing area
Hi.
We would like to have the possibility to administrate user rights also for the Billing area. In order to restrict all users seeing the invoices and to give this right only to particular people who are directly responsible for it. Please consider such feature for the next releases.87 votes -
Show max IOPS line on IOPS graphs
When monitoring disk IOPS, it isn't immediately clear when we are limited on IOPS. Having a red limit line on the IOPS chart on the metrics tab would help here.

Expiration Date on Database Write Access
Just like the Network Access where you can allow an IP address to be used for connection to the database for a short time, I would like that same feature for Database Access write permissions. I would like to temporarily give someone permissions for X hours and after that time period, it reverts back to the original state, such as read-only access. I have to temp give someone permissions during release nights to perform operations.
Example: "This entry is temporary write access will be deleted in 6 hours and reverted back to the original real-only state."

Live Migrate Individual Namespaces
Mongomirror allows you to migrate particular databases or collections using the --includeDB and --includeNamespace parameters:
https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/reference/mongomirror/#cmdoption-includedb
https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/reference/mongomirror/#cmdoption-includenamespaceIt would be helpful if Live Migrate allowed for use of these options as well to migrate subsets of data, instead of only migrating an entire cluster.

Disk queue length metric
Atlas exposes a few hardware metrics including Util% (presumably obtained from iostat or similar). However this metric is not very significant in the age of SSDs - a volume could be 100% utilized and still have spare capacity. A more useful storage-level metric is Average queue length - this is easier to interpret (high queue length = storage contention).
Would it be possible to add this metric to Atlas monitoring?

Data Explorer pagination or seperate tab for name spaces
Right now the data Explorer renders all collections and this often results in time outs for very big deployments. To make the UI usable I propose that the side bar with all the collections be a seperate tab, paginated server side or otherwise. Thank you

when making backups don't have the banner say "deploying your changes"
I was very confused recently when I logged in and saw the message "We are deploying your changes" despite nobody having made any changes to the cluster. Apparently what was happening was our scheduled backup was happening. This was a really confusing message to be seeing and resulted in a support request to work out what changes were being made.
It would be much better if the message when a scheduled backup was happening was more clear about what is happening and less misleading.

Configurable number of insertion workers per collection for mongomirror
Mongorestore allows for the number of concurrent insertion workers per collection to be increased using the --numInsertionWorkersPerCollection option.
However, this is not available for mongomirror -- while you can increase the number of collections copied in parallel (--numParallelCollections), there's no parameter surfaced to allow more inserts to be occurring at the same time over multiple threads within each collection.
|t would be helpful to have a parameter like this to use to increase parallelization in order to increase the speed of migrations of large collections.

Allow 100.64.0.0/10 IP ranges for VPC peering
add more IP ranges for VPC peering on Google GCP network in Google Cloud environment. https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/vpc#valid-ranges is supported. Docs only show RFC1918 IPs. https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/security-vpc-peering/#in-configure-your-network-peering-connection-2

selected option scroll disappear on click to scroll
In Atlas within Insert Document: When using the data type selection, clicking on the scroll bar or arrow causes the select option to disappear. Possibly increasing the size of the select option depth to where scroll is not needed may help.

Show date in UI DB Stats axes
Show date in UI DB Stats axes
Currently the x-axis of DB Stats charts do not show dates, making it difficult to interpret the range of time displayed in the chart.
For example, you can see in the date menu shown in the attached image that the chart range is over 4 days, but this is not apparent in the x-axis of each chart -- the x-axis only shows one reference time of 07:00.
It would be more helpful if the axis showed a reference date in addition to the time, and ideally a couple dates so that it is…

Refresh button like "Contact Team" button
There should be a refresh button like the "Contact Team" button on the bottom righthand corner in the "database" section, so that users don't always need to scroll up and down, just to update their schemas

Log Redaction for Atlas
It would be good to see Log Redaction work in Atlas as well, similar to On Prem

Applying an index suggestion should remove redundant indices automatically
An index suggestion for a compound index should check if it makes an existing index redundant. If so, it should remove it automatically after adding the compound index, or at least add the option to do so.
