Add correlated IP address to network access alerts
Hi team, we need to monitor when a specific IP address is added to network access.
Now there's an option to monitor this action, however, we are not getting the added IP address in the alert summary or body.8 votes -
Improve "Query Targeting Alerts" alert by including the database name and collection name
The "Query Targeting Alerts" alert notification does not contain any reference to the database or collection that triggered it making it hard to figure out where it came from. A hostname reference would be very helpful.

Atlas disk scale up alerts are useless without the cluster name
I created an alert for Atlas auto scaling the disk events, and asked for it to be sent to the DevOps team mail and a slack channel.
While the mail is informative, the slack message isn't - it doesn't show the cluster where the scale up happens, only the project. Given the fact there's a large amount of clusters in the project, it renders the slack alert rather useless. Please add this to the slack alert as well.
Thanks,

Setting alert from Atlas when scheduled maintenance canceled
Recently we experienced unnecessary resource allocation due to a lack of proper notification. I received maintenance cancellation alert by simple email that "maintenance is no longer needed".
We need ability to set an alert to the channels we're using to notify alerts for maintenance schedule to increase visibility.
Ability to set alerts in Atlas to receive cancellation notifications at the same level of detail as maintenance schedule notifications.1 vote -
Notification per Cluster
I would like to see notifications per cluster.
Our Problem is that we have a nonprod Cluster, that is inactive at night. When it comes back in the Morning, we get a lot of mails "Search Index Build Complete" this is simply not usefull... But if this happens on our prod cluster this would be problematic.1 vote -
Disable Query Targeting alert notifications for $changeStream operations
Change streams require scanning of the oplog and cannot make use of indexes, meaning that $changeStream operations frequently trigger Query Targeting: Scanned Objects / Returned alerts that cannot be actioned. It would be ideal to allow $changeStream operations to be filtered from the Query Targeting alerts.

we can set up alerts in Mongo Atlas for the failed integration for datadog /slack etc\
If integration fails for any available third-party tool, we can get notified from Atlas Alert, which helps in saving any issues from metrics and 3rd party tool always functioning .

Alert When Cluster Nodes Not Regionally Fault Tolerant
If a cluster is not regionally fault tolerant, generate alert to associated email address(es). Since regional fault tolerance is typically only a concern in production environments, provide the ability to only alert on clusters that contain specific tag values. Also, it would be helpful to see the lack of regional fault tolerance as an icon in the console screen for the end user.

Disable/Opt out of email notifications
We would like the option to disable email alerts within an individual user's settings.
We have users who need admin/owner level status for multiple projects but do not need to receive granular daily alerting like the rest of the project members. Differentiating alerts on user type alone will not solve our use case.3 votes -

Alert notification for new cluster created in the project
Greetings, Support
After looking over the alert settings, I discovered that there aren't any alarms that can be monitored to be informed when a new cluster is created on the present project. Please include a notice about the future release, as it directly correlates with and impacts the price and invoicing.(Confirmed with support as there is not such alerts in Atlas with the current settings and case:01298603)

Need Prior notification For The Scheduled maintenance
We have noticed that our servers undergo scheduled maintenance, resulting in unexpected reboots. However, we lack information about the nature and purpose of these maintenance activities. We require a prior notification regarding scheduled minor/major maintenance to ensure that we can take proactive measures from our end. This would enable us to prepare appropriately and minimize any potential disruptions or issues caused by the maintenance.

"Deviation from Norm" and "Frog Boil" type alerting
Currently Atlas only alerts us when CPU reaches a critical threshold such as 90%. We would like to see additional types of alerts to detect issues sooner, including the following.
- “Deviation from norm” - A given metric is X% worse than the Y-hour average at the same time window for the past Z days (e.g. “CPU today at 4am is much worse than the average of 3am ~ 4am for the past 7 days”.)
- “Frog boils” - A given metric is becoming progressively X% worse over Y hours / days / weeks (e.g. "CPU usage is 10% higher on average…
