Would be nice if this can be dockerized
I am trying to simply dockerize this by creating a Dockerfile within this directory but am not able to get the container to start the mongo compass.
Is this feasible? Or am I missing something.3 votes -
Sort favorite connections by name
Right now it seems favorites are sorted by least recent created. When you have a bit more (I have 9) it would be great to have them sorted by name instead. Or otherwise, sort by most recent used, or allow to sort manually.

Show user accumulated query time per query shape in performance tab
Provide a histogram of commonly slow queries since entering the performance tab or pressing PLAY. Same as hottest queries but over time. Sum the query milliseconds over each invocation of the query shape.
While one specific query may be slow at any given time. The best practice in performance troubleshooting is to optimize the queries that are consuming the maximum total time when aggregated together. So, a relatively fast query that is extremely common may consume more resources in the mongod than a very rare query that is relatively slower.

Detach and Organize Tabs for Multi-Document/Collection View
Currently, MongoDB Compass does not support the ability to detach and organize tabs, limiting the ability to view multiple documents or collections simultaneously. It would be incredibly useful to have the ability to move tabs around and view multiple collections or documents side-by-side within the same instance of Compass.
As a workaround, users can open two instances of Compass, but this process is more clunky as it requires re-authenticating, reconnecting, and reopening tabs. Additionally, there’s no option to collapse the sidebar, and window resizing is limited, restricting the options for arranging multiple windows effectively.
We’d like to request a feature…

Tab to accept suggestion
I REALLY hate that as I insert my query and if I press Enter, the top suggestion that popped up is selected. It completely replaces the query I just built and 95% of the time, it's not the same query. You should require me to tab or arrow down to select the suggestion that is right for me, if I want to use the suggestion at all.

Native Windows arm64 support
Windows on arm64 is getting quite a lot of traction lately, with multiple vendors launching new Snapdragon-powered laptops. Would be cool to see MongoDB Compass runnning on these processors natively.

Add settings to have query options expanded by default and pick a view
I never send a query without having to expand this section. It adds a step to every single opertaion, which is tiresome. It save about three lines of space. It would save a lot of time and be less annoying if there was an option to just leave this section open by default. I also alwyas want to display the data as table rows instead of josn or documents. Same deal here, it would be nice not to be forced to use the deafult MongoDB idea here - the views are available already so it would be nice to save…
