    indexes tab showing indexes of selected collection, would be great to know what expiry time was set for ttl indexes when expanding them. recent updates to compass are really really good btw.

    Currently, you cannot specify options like "language_override" and "default_language" while creating Text Indexes in Compass. This is a feature request to allow specifying options like "language_override" and "default_language" while creating Text Indexes In Compass.

    currently indexStats are show for less than a month, if it atleast 3 months stats that would be a good indicator if index is not in use for 3 months then it can be deleted

    unfortunately at this time, Compass cannot build hashed indexes, can we add this option

  5. index creation progress percentage

    Please expose the progress percentage when an index is being created on the compass UI, this should be very very simple since it's already in the op object msg field. Just an "In progress..." is simply lazy development.

  6. Expose hide index functionality

    MongoDB guidance suggests that an index should be hidden such that the impact of deleting the index can be assessed prior to its actual deletion. This functionality should be surfaced in both Atlas and Compass thus making it easier to follow the guidance.

    I want to be able to from a developer standpoint, use or not use an index and see the performance different through Compass.

  8. Improve Index utilization information for unprivileged users

    If a user is not privileged to call $indexStats, Compass is showing a 0 as value for index usages, which is misleading. Instead it would better to indicate that the indexStats could not be fetched.
