  1. Generate and send MongoDB Alert emails without graphics

Images are always added when generating mails, and unfortunately, our central monitoring system can't cope with that. It would be great if you can generate and send MongoDB Alert emails without graphics.

  2. Get only one invariant IP address as addressee when using webhooks for alerts

When using webhooks, alerts can unfortunately be sent from a large number of IP addresses. This is problematic for our network team and security requirements. It would be great if there was a way to get only one invariant IP address as addressee, possibly by putting a proxy in between.

  3. New Default Alert for Connection Timeout

It would be helpful if there is a default alert in the Atlas UI for a connection timeout, rather than this only being in the log file.

  4. pagerduty - User certificate expiration NDS_X509_USER lack of details

The alert type NDSX509USERAUTHENTICATIONMANAGEDUSERCERTSEXPIRATIONCHECK sent to pager duty using integration key miss some important information, such as, the name of the certificate that is about to expire. We have to open MongoDb atlas to see the details.
I want to have all the details, the same when we send the notification by Email.

  5. selected option scroll disappear on click to scroll

In Atlas within Insert Document: When using the data type selection, clicking on the scroll bar or arrow causes the select option to disappear. Possibly increasing the size of the select option depth to where scroll is not needed may help.

  6. Optimise alerts UI

You can’t save edits made to alerts on a mobile device - see screenshot. The site doesn’t let users scale the screen, nor does flipping to landscape help - the save button is hidden.

  12. Using REGEX to exclude node from Alerts

Please exclude specific node(s) from Alerts using REGEX with a negative lookahead/ exclusion (instead of an inclusion matcher on hostnames in a replica set).

  13. Have the capability to manage contact details for Atlas-level 'Teams'

There should be a capability to manage/assign contact details (such as email) at the Atlas level, to the created organizational 'Teams' (such as assigning a team distro email address), so that alerting can be streamlined, instead of sending out separate emails to each and every member of the team.

  14. Profiler output is confusing

Not so much a feature perhaps as a bug, but it seems that in the profiler page, the chart changes with the time window of interest, e.g. from 24hr to 6 hr or 1hr, but the listing of the namespaces underneath does not. So suppose you think you've fixed an issue and want to check 4 hours later. The chart seems to indicate things are ok, but the namespace table is actually confusing in this case. When you click on an item in a listed namespace (i.e. collection), it goes into the detail view and that one does conform to…

  15. Active link on closed alerts

Currently closed alerts are just a simple text card unlike open alert which does have links. This functionality should be available in closed alert as well.

  16. Time Sensitive Alerts

I would like the ability to (optionally) set a time window for any alert. IE Alert me if average write latency rises above 500 msec from 8am to 8pm. If outside those times don't alert me.

  17. Allow alerts to be created for when a MDB engineer manually intervenes on a cluster issue

This would be for cases when a cluster cannot self heal, and a member of the technical team needs to do a manual intervention. Their activity may show up in the logs after the fact, but there doesn't seem to be a way (currently) to have a proactive notification go out when the update is being made.

Having such an alert would give customers transparency/visibility into what MDB teams are working on, allowing them to focus their attention accordingly (ie. if customers encounter an issue but are alerted that the MDB team is already working on a fix, they'll know…
