Reduce the height of ribbons
In atlas we have multiple ribbons
- Atlas (with your organizations)
- Projects (with Data Services and Charts)
- The cluster view (with the big ribbon containing all tabs, the path to cluster, the version, region)
- The database viewThe two latest ribbons are so big, and reduce the view reserved to display the query results.
It could be great to collapse the two ribbon as it is possible with Microsoft Office Suite

Removal of unavailable metrics button from UI after cluster update based on cluster version.
I updated cluster from V6.x.x to V7.x.x, and found that (Tickets Available) graph is showing available r/w tickets near 0. It was a little scary at a time but, after talking to support, I got to know (Tickets Available) is no longer supported but same info is available from (Queues) graph.

Sort collections by the column headers
When you click into a database you see all the collections that are in it, their size, indexes, number of records, etc etc. It'd be awesome if those columns are clickable to sort the table. I'm trying to find the largest collections and collections with the most indexes and I'm having to scan through 100+ rows. Seems like low hanging fruit.

Show labels on users page
Hi,
Please can we display the "labels" for a user on the UI, in the same way that you show "Tags" against instances. It really helps to see which users are managed by what system (and we use tags for this).Attached a screenshot for the server so you can see what I mean.

Make document count more readable
The way atlas web UI shows the number of documents is not readable when the number is more than in order of tens of thousands, please change it to work like in MongoDBCompass so e.g instead of showing
"TOTAL DOCUMENTS: 338991889" show "TOTAL DOCUMENTS: 339.0M" or at the very least "TOTAL DOCUMENTS: 338 991 889"1 vote -
Enhance Ui
website interface should be enhanced in order for better visualization. For example change font families which attract more user to it. Previous Ui is much better than present UI.
This Ui bore user to interact with mongo db1 vote -
Size column in indexes tab in Atlas
Feedback from customer: "The "size" column in the indexes tab is unclear if it is a progress bar that eventually completes after some period of time. The "blue bar" is a little confusing. The size is already mentioned above it. If the index is still building, perhaps an indicator saying that the index is currently building would offer a better user experience."

Monitoring - Add "lines" for "suggested" and "danger"
It would be desirable to have "Lines" in monitor dashbards for "suggested" and "danger" thresholds. For example, if suggested oplog size is above 24h, add an horizontal orange line at 24h. If oplog size below 12h is dangerous, add a red line at 12. This can be usefull for (almost) all metrics

Improve MFA login with automatic trigger
When I login to "account.mongodb.com" with MFA enabled I'm presented with a page "Verify Your Identity" and I have to select a "Authentication Method".
But since I have only one method available, why the page can't select and trigger it automatically? If you implement this proposal, the login proces will be a bit faster.6 votes -
Add multiple OpsGenie integrations API keys per project.
Hi folks,
Can be really helpful to allow configuring more than one OpsGenie integration API key per project.2 votes -
download linux mongosh from from "connect" modal
In the past when openning the "connect" modal of the "database deployments" page, and choosing "i dont have the mongodb shell installed" you could select the linux version of mongosh to download and install, according to the major linux distributions. now it only shows Mac or Windows, while, as my screenshot shows - the ability to download it still remain in some obscure link that was provided to me by your support staff. the ability to download the linux version of mongosh should be made available again directly from the modal

Hide controls for users who do not have permissions to perform actions
Users who with restricted access are still able to view the controls/actions they are not allowed to perform. This makes it difficult for an admin to recognise right away if they gave a person the correct level of access because all screens look the same regardless of access level.

Show specific point in time for the "Restores & Downloads" UI
Right now, if you run a point-in-time restore, the "Restore & Downloads" sub-tab on the "Backup" tab of the cluster shows the "Snapshot Completed Time" which is not the user requested "point in time" which leads to massive amounts of confusion. The UI shows the snapshot that was restored to but has absolutely no indication of what time the oplog was replayed to, leading the user to believe that the restore did not correctly restore.
(whereas in actuality, the restore did correctly happen, just that the UI completely misleads the user)
e.g. I have a snapshot policy every day at…

Remove space margin in the web interface to have larger data viewer
The data viewer area in the collection tab is just too small for data with lots of wasted whitespace on the margin around the data viewer. Ref DataViewTooSmall.PNG

Snapshot progress (% done) feedback in Atlas UI
While the "Status" of "Taking Snapshot" is informative in the Atlas UI, not knowing whether it will take another 10 minutes or 5 hours is a HUGE problem for production use. Please add % done indication similar to that of the restore feedback. CLI alternatives are NOT a replacement for a first-class UI experience.

In Atlas, create a Fixed Update area (for the blue status bar) to prevent content pane from shifting down
Create a fixed area for the blue bar status update after creating a Snapshot or after an API call is executed, so the content pane does not shift down and risk the user from inadvertently running a "Pause Cluster", "Terminate", or other command.

Show the number of results when filtering a collection
It would be great to display the number of results when filtering a collection.
Currently, the only way to have this information is to click through all the pages of results until reaching the last page. But often, the only information I need is the number of results, and I don't care about the results themselves.
Duplicate of:
https://feedback.mongodb.com/forums/924145-atlas/suggestions/43695636-total-document-count-on-filterBut it belongs more in this category, IMHO.

Instead of loading all collections, let me choose which namespace to open in data explorer
when attempting to view collections we run into long delays or a failure to load. Especially When loading list for large instances it always fails to load and there are some performance issues for larger instances as well for loading new pages.
We frequently leverage the data explorer in Atlas, and this is the most painful part of our workflow.
Would it be possibly to search for specific collection instead of loading all collections every time we open the collections tab?
