I would like a dark theme
here a temporary solution, works for linux/windows
Dark mode... Please!
Yes, I really need!! :3
I just made an account to share my work-around with you: When you have compass open, go to View > Toggle Inspector and add this CSS to the body element of the app:
filter: invert(100%) blur(0)
Yes, it's ugly, yes, it's not persistent, but at least my eyes stop bleeding. Luckily this is Electron, so this is possible. A shame that the developers haven't implemented a proper dark mode.
Found my solution to this request in JetBrains Datagrip product.
Dark theme pleaassee , my eyes
Dark mode please!
To anyone looking for a Dark Mode today on PC...
It's a pain with multiple monitors, but this program inverts black and white while leaving colors relatively intact. You can hot key it on or off with Win+alt+n.
Hope it helps some of you out there...
Jesus Christ this was requested years ago! (Way before this, too) It's 2020, a lot of us work at night / in dark environments, we are devs; we NEED a dark mode!
It would be very helpful to get this dark mode. Hurts the eyes a lot when you have to switch between black/ white screens !
Most developers code in dark mode as it is less taxing on the eyes and easier to read text over text for long hours. Coming from mLab to Atlas and after using MongoDB compass, I have found that it was much easier to edit docs in mLab because the dark theme made all my data more readable.
I can't work with Compass for more than a few minutes without getting eyestrain. Please add a dark mode.
Please add this! It's unacceptable to not have a dark mode option in developer tooling in 2020! I love the software, but I had to move to a inferior competitor, just because they supported a dark theme and this does not. Hope to see this implemented soon.
