Atlas auto-scaling configurable alerts
It would be useful, and contribute to a complete alert experience, to have auto-scaling event alerts configurable in project alerts. Users should be able to send alerts to their target system of choice, and prevent numerous alerts to specific users.
Currently auto-scaling alerts are only emails to project members (as per the following https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/cluster-autoscaling/#acknowledge-auto-scaling-events).
Examples of configurable alerts:
- Scale-up unsuccessful due to max cluster-tier too low -> change email recipient of these alerts
- Scale-up event has occurred -> send alert via SMS and Slack.76 votesWe have added the ability to configure alerts for Atlas auto-scaling. In the Project Alerts page, you will see a new category called "Atlas auto-scaling". For more information, please see our documentation here.
Thank you!

Add Alerts for Triggers
Add alerts for when Triggers are suspended or exceed a threshold.
14 votesThank you all for your feedback! There are alerts available for Trigger suspension that can be configured in your Project Alerts (App Services > Trigger > cannot be restarted or auto resumed). Additionally, we have added a multitude of alerts for the metrics you see in the metrics dashboard on the App homepage - reference sheet here. These can also be found in the Project Alerts under App Services > Metrics > [select condition/metric].

Return private endpoints for peered network from mongo-db prometheus discovery endpoint
We are using VPC peering to connect with Mongo Atlas. With the recent account about, prometheus integration. We added scrape config to mongo-db discovery API. However, scraping times out. Upon checking further it is found that discovery API returns public endpoints not private ones. Hence connection is failing. Is there a way that discovery API can send private endpoints.
10 votesI'm happy to announce that the Prometheus integration does now support VPC peering. This can be configured in the Prometheus configuration modal in the user interface when using the HTTP SD discovery method.
More information on how to configure this can also be found here: https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/reference/api/third-party-integration-settings-discovery/#request-query-parameters
