There are many instances where the synonym-related needs of users are similar. For instance, in the case of names, Robert, Rob, and Bob are considered synonymous for some use cases.

One customer recently shared that they would like to have a pre-build synonyms collection/synonyms bank. In their case they care about sports and ability to equate "Volleyball" with "vball" and "basketball" with "bball"
