VPC between ATLAS/MongoDB/AWS and Heroku/AWS
Would be a great great feature if we can create a VPC between ATLAS/MongoDB/AWS and Heroku/AWS.
Thanks.

I tested this a few days ago and it looks like it's still not possible to have a VPC encompassing multiple cloud provider. On a project where we have 3 GPC nodes and 2 AWS nodes and a VPC, the application (on GCP) is only able to communicate with GCP nodes . Connections to AWS nodes result in socket timeout.
I found this video where Andrew Davidson announced that the feature would be available in early 2021: https://youtu.be/eC1-16jpyEc?t=1689.
Is there any up to date information on the roadmap for this feature? Would be best to have a private tunnel instead of communications over the Internet (even with IP whitelisting on firewall) to allow applications to communicate with all nodes in the multi cloud cluster.
