This is now possible, using the import/export feature. When importing a dashboard from a file, you have the opportunity to change data sources.

This is important to me too. I have a development/integration and production environment with the same database structure on the same cluster.
The ability to switch between data sources in real-time would prevent me from creating a duplicated dashboard for each environment and manually setting all the data sources. -

I think this suggestion is related to have dynamic databases for charts. If you have a dashboard for a database and you want to replicate for another different database but with the same structure, it would help if you can dupplicate the dashboard and just change the database.
