Configure rate limit
It would be nice to be able to configure rate-limiting to prevent DDoS, scraping or unwanted requests that could highly increase the cost of MongoDB Realms

I would love to use MongoDB's default user/pass auth in my applications, however, I don't feel comfortable enabling this and opening a door for bad actors to abuse the system. This was created in 2020 and I can't believe this hasn't been implemented yet.

I agree that if MongoDB App Services is to be used at scale and we are signing up for the potential of inflated costs due to unwanted requests, we should have the ability to protect ourselves via rate limiting of some kind. Otherwise, we just become very vulnerable.

Yes, this is indeed something critical. I believe it can be also addressed by some trigger or general throttle limit from authorized/unauthorized users.

Absolutely critical feature. Really waiting for it to be implemented.

I strongly feel that this feature is critical to Realm being usable. Handling traffic, especially spikes, is a pretty big deal for any backend. This kind of control over incoming requests is necessary when replacing a typical backend configuration.
