Currently, one can't use the autocomplete type to index fields whose value is an array of strings. This is a feature request to allow autocomplete indexing and searching on an array of strings.

Hi All, I’m reaching out because this feature will be available for early access soon. If you’d like early access to this feature please review and respond to the email I sent today by EOD Friday, Sept 2nd and we’ll schedule you to receive access during the week of September 19th. Please keep in mind that delivery of this feature requires a reindexing of your collections - the email I sent has more details on what that entails and additional information. Thanks!

Any updates on the schedule for this? Or is there a workaround? Or is there a solution for using array of objects instead of array of strings?

this is critical. right now I have to flatten and/or denormalize my data to make it searchable creating redundant copies of data.

This feature would be very very cool to have! Can you give a rough estimate when this could be available?

This feature is crucial for search, which is pretty much in every app. Please implement as soon as possible. Thank you
