Ubuntu 26.04 was blocked due to an issue with the 6.19 >< 7.0.13 versions of the Linux Kernel related to the TCMalloc implementation of Restartable Sequences (RSEQ). This was tracked with the SERVER-125742 ticket.
Support for Ubuntu 26.04 was added in the MongoDB 8.0.34 and 8.3.9 releases. Support for Ubuntu 26.04 will be available in a future patch for 9.0.
