Here’s how it typically works:
Check your subscription/billing
Cancel any active subscriptions or clusters you don’t need.
Ensure your billing is up to date (no outstanding invoices).
Contact MongoDB Support
Go to the MongoDB Support Portal.
Log in with your MongoDB account.
Open a support case requesting account closure.
Include your account email and any relevant details to speed up processing.
Follow Support’s instructions
Support will verify your identity and may confirm that data and projects have been deleted before closing the account.
