Log FCV 4.2 backup snapshot progress in logs

What problem are you trying to solve?

Focus on the what and why of the need you have, not the how you'd like it solved.

FCV 4.2 backup snapshot progress is available in Ops Manager backup page. However, this info is gone when the backup restarted. If the info can persists in logs, it may give insight (1) how much data it has completed in backup (2) if the issue is due to insufficient storage, this gives immediate indicator how much size we need to expand

What would you like to see happen?

Describe the desired outcome or enhancement.

FCV 4.2 backup snapshot progress should be logged in mms0.log and/or backup agent logs from time to time and/or when it failed.

Why is this important to you or your team?

Explain how the request adds value or solves a business need.

Sometimes we need to justify to internal team how much extra storage we need to overcome the insufficient snapshot storage issue.

What steps, if any, are you taking today to manage this problem?

Without this info logged, we need to rely on MongoDB Support to give a estimated sizing which might differ from what we immediately need, as there are moving parameters that are not easily accountable.
