Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to submit this region interest for Online Archive. At this time, we do not currently have adding new regions to Online Archive in our roadmap for the next 6 or so months. We are working towards improvements for a lot of aspects of online archive in the next 12+ month roadmap but adding new regions is lower on this list than others (for example - GDPR-compliant record deletion and ability to use encryption at rest with customer-managed keys (CMK)).
I am marking this ticket as Future Consideration but to set expectations, this will not be consider in the next rough 6 to 12 months. For anyone else interested, please add a vote to this ticket so that we can continually track the demand specifically for the UAE (me-central-1) region.
