    This request is for the JAva driver to support this - as of writing (March 2024) this is supported: https://www.mongodb.com/docs/drivers/java/sync/current/fundamentals/auth/#std-label-mongodb-aws-auth-mechanism

    Hey Paddy! Thanks for letting us know about your feature request. In the 4.8 release of the driver just a few months ago, we released native support for AWS EKS. Would you mind taking a look at https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/JAVA-4118 and letting me know if this meets your needs?
