Locale formatting

In the tab 'Customize' you can (de-)activate the thousands separators, The visual representation is in english locale, e.g. 1,000.00 I would like to be able to change this to another locale. For german locale the number formatting should be 1.000,00

    I consider displaying numbers in local representation to be a basic option present in all BI I've used. it is present in the date fields and not in the numeric ones. it is unthinkable to provide my customers with numbers formatted in this way

    I would suggest supporting locale or a configurable field (like what is done for pre and postfix)
