Dear MongoDB Team,
I'm writing to provide feedback about MongoDB Compass interface changes. As a student learning MongoDB with 20+ classmates, we've noticed significant usability differences between versions.
**Our Experience:**
- We find MongoDB Compass version 1.43 (older version) more user-friendly than the current updated version
- The frontend/UI design was more intuitive and practical for learning purposes
- Specifically, the mongosh integration and button layout made database operations more accessible for beginners
**Why the older version worked better for us:**
1. More intuitive button placement and navigation
2. Better integration between GUI and mongosh commands
3. Clearer visual hierarchy for learning database concepts
4. More practical workflow for educational use cases
**Request:**
Could you consider:
- Bringing back some UI elements from version 1.43?
- Providing a "Classic Mode" option for educational institutions?
- Gathering more feedback from educational users before major UI changes?
We appreciate MongoDB Compass as a learning tool and hope this feedback helps improve the user experience for students and educators.
