Globally Enable/Disable GENAI feature. Currently, if we disable or toggle the AI switch to 'disabled' in the Atlas Portal, this action only impacts the Data Explorer option within the Atlas Portal itself. The Compass tool, which acts as the client interface, keeps the AI feature enabled by default and can still interact with the database and execute queries.

The main concern here is that there doesn’t seem to be a unified or central location to control the enablement or disablement of the AI feature across both Atlas Portal and Compass.

What steps, if any, are you taking today to manage this problem?

Currently it is only disabled at the Data Explorer level in Atlas Portal.
