Filtered Data Lake Ingestions

Our immediate need is that our applications are multi-tenant, so it would be very useful if we could create tenant-specific data lakes, by setting particular constraints in the ingestion configuration (ex. only ingest the documents with tenantId =...

Operator crashes when it doesn't have permissions to watch a namespace

If one of many namespaces does not set the permissions for the operator to watch the namespace, it throws exceptions and goes to crashLoopBackOff state. This is clearly a bug. One misconfigured namespace should never be able to take the operator d...

Manually replace / restart virtual machine

Allow to replace / restart the underlying virtual machine of a node. Sometimes this is all that is needed to get a cluster out of an unhealthy state. Currently, only support seem to be able to do this.

export list of database users

For audit purposes, I would like to have an export function to create a list of database users. The current view of database access contains the name and the associated roles. Having this information as a csv or pdf file would make it easier to de...

Aggregation Error Verbosity

It would be a real boon to have the aggregation pipeline builder report errors with any degree of verbosity. Right now it just says "unknown error ocurred", and I have to move my pipeline down to the shell to get a real error message.

Support serverless OLAP workloads

I can use scondaries to support OLAP workloads however I'd like autoscale read-only and analytic nodes using the serverless cost model.

Unevenly Scale Global Shards

Globally distributed shards should be able to scale unevenly. We have uneven loads across the world and sometimes spikes can hit a single region. Autoscaling for that single region scales everything and increases costs unnecessarily

Release Cadence to allow pegging Minor Version Upgrades prior to GA of next Major Release

Issue: Current requirement to enable 'auto upgrades' to test and take advantage of Minor version updates (Example: 6.x.x >> 6.y.x). As a larger company with a 2-4 week release cycle in our products, we have seen need to start testing a Mino...
