    Compacting of a collection directly from the MongoDB Atlas website UI. No need to run CLI commands and changing primary database. Making regular maintenance easier.

    Target $search queries to specific shards

    Currently, sharded $search queries are scatter-gather queries and they cannot be targeted to specific shards. This is an enhancement request to target $search queries to specific shards, and thereby make them more efficient/performant.

    New relic integration

    We have an atlas account where all of are databases are, and we use new relic for monitoring and alerting. It would be great if i could show in new relic dashboards of the status of our mongoDB, because all other dashboards are already there

    Atlas UI (Data Explorer): Export feature .csv/.json option for collection integrated into (JS) MongoDB Atlas Cloud

    Support for nested datatype search

    Add the ability to trigger alerts for testing purposes

    It would be useful to have a "Test Alert" button for each configured alert in order to integrate and test alerts with third-party systems. Otherwise, it is difficult if not impossible to determine what the alert will look like until it is triggered.

    Add a single-node option.

    mLab had the option to create a single-node deployment, which was very nice for development environments where redundancy isn't important, but keeping costs down is. Would be nice to see this in Atlas as well.

    Activity feed filters - allow filtering by cluster node name

    We need to be able to filter the activity feed based on the name of the cluster's nodes, not just the name of the cluster itself.
