Compass: "Report a bug" feature is itself broken. Also autocomplete is not usable.

Which shows a licensing error and does not let me report a bug. The irony, it burns. The error message is:
This gadget cannot be displayed on your dashboard. This could be due to a licensing problem or an application error. If you need this gadget, contact your administrator for assistance. Otherwise, you can remove it from your dashboard.
Also, the new feature that shows old queries is incredibly intrusive, and constantly replaces what I'm trying to type with something old and wrong. I am not always…

Natural language to MQL as an API
Multiple use cases require the ability to query the data in MongoDB using Natural language. 'AI copilot' is one such use case where the application developer wants to expose a way for the app's users to get data-backed responses from MongoDB, and the users interact with the copilot in conversational language. Examples of this include - Customer service chatbot, medical assistant, etc.

Config option to not open a new tab for each collection selected (old behavior)
The new mode of opening a new tab every time a new collection is selected is dreadful to me. I'm constantly closing dozens of tabs I didn't want. I would like a config option to disable the new behavior and revert to the old behavior of re-using the existing tab.

Tabs are too easy to close, X should always be visible
It's too easy to close collection tabs at the moment with the most recent update. I should be able to click almost anywhere on my tab to navigate, not 1/4 or 1/5 being overtaken by an "X" that only appears on hover.

Add an easy way to copy field value
Add an easy way to copy field value to the clipboard - a small button near each field that only appears on hover, or right-click to a field with options - copy field value, copy field name, copy "field: value".

Hiding the sidebar for more working area
I suggest that it is possible to hide the sidebar, when working with a limited resolution laptop, mongodb compass takes 70% of the screen, which only leaves 30% to refer to documentations.

Option to turn off the multiple connections in a single window feature
With the recent update to multiple connections in a single window, I have found that it can be confusing when you have the same database open for test and prod. Please add an option to turn off the feature allowing multiple connections in a single window for those of us who do not want the new feature.

search by dbname > collectionname
While searching for a collection and if the connected account have multiple dbs with same schema its hard to search for specific db collection.
My proposed solution is when we search using > i.e. dbname> collection name .
It should show collections in specific db only. not in all the dbs.for example

"I would like to have the capability to adjust the width of columns in the collection table
I would like the ability to adjust, expand, or shrink columns by using the mouse when viewing the table in the 'Documents' section of the collection.

Add "Documents Per Page" feature it will very helpfull for us
Currently there are only 20 documents per page but if you give a feature to choose documents per page then it's very helpful..

Disable query propositions
Have a setting to turn off the suggestions that appears when you type a Query.
This feature can also be completely removed, in my opinion. If i want to execute an old query i go on history tab and select it.
The 99% of time the automatic suggestions are a loss of time.1 vote -

Recyle Bin
There should be a Recycle Bin in Compass which will store deleted data or collections so that they can be restored if deleted accidently.

Improvement Suggestion for Filtering Databases in MongoDB Compass
Hello MongoDB Compass Team,
Thank you for the excellent tool! I have a suggestion that I believe would enhance the user experience, particularly when managing multiple databases.
Currently, when connecting to a server with multiple databases, it can be challenging to navigate if only a few specific databases are actively used. It would be incredibly helpful if there was an option to filter or hide certain databases in the connection view, allowing users to focus on just the databases they work with most frequently.

change the order / re-organise of connections
Being able to change the order of the connections on the left hand side of the UI and/or renaming the connections is pretty essential in order to keep the workspace mantainable.
this needs to be urgently fixed.
