Administration API Auditing
Looking for more verbose and central auditing of Administration API key usage. Currently, not all actions are logged to the activity feed.
We understand we can refer to the Access Control List for the API key and get date/time for last usage, but, we would like to have visibility into endpoint, action, last used, etc. for each usage of the key.

Restore atlas cluster backup to differently encrypted Project
If we take a volume snapshot backup from one project which is encrypted with encryption key A, we need to restore it into another project with Encryption key B .
If we use Live migrate for this, it may take more time than volume snapshot restore.
We need this feature for quicker refreshes of database cluster.8 votes -
serverless
Can we have a way to stop going over a certain amount RPU/WPUs, i know we can have alerts but we should be able to say dont go above a certain amount or somehow limit usage.

Allow killing operations in the RTPP without having to enable the Data Explorer
Please prioritise the decoupling of the ability to kill operations in the Real Time Performance Panel from the Data Explorer.
Currently we disable the Data Explorer on our production projects so that our developers can view the Profiler and the Metrics, without being able to query the actual data. But disabling the Data Explorer prevents us from killing operations in the Real Time Performance Panel. While reenabling the Data Explorer is an easy task, it's very easy to forget the one needs to do this in order to be able to kill operations as they do not seem related in…

Encryption at rest with our own keys - Manage alert and shutdown parameters
It would be interesting to improve the encryption at rest feature in order to be able to define the alert parameters in case of unavailability of the key as well as the delay before a Replica Set fails.
for example. I want to be alerted if my key is not available x times in the last 10 minutes and stop the replica game after 60 minutes if the situation is not resolved. This makes it possible for the support team to take corrective action without causing downtime.

SEIM integration between Splunk and MongoDB
I'd like formal integration between Splunk and MongoDB for the SEIM use case.

Show last activity of user
For managing Database Users, it would be nice to see when that user was last used to authenticate with the cluster - so that we can spot potentially unused accounts and to act as an extra layer of confirmation when deleting accounts that we think are not needed anymore.

Keep context of Metrics dashboard
on MongoAtlas metrics dashboard, I can organize graphically different metrics as I want to display first "insert" metric for example, then "cpu" metric, etc ...
If I change this actual order, then I go to another screen (for example "network access") and finally I come back to this metric dashboard, my new metrics added (insert, cpu, ...) in first position are not in wanted first position (at the top of metrics list), but at the end of this metrics list.It would be great to keep metrics context (displayed metrics and ordering) on Metrics dashboard.

Provide offending query shape in Query Targeting alert notifications
It would be ideal if the alert notifications for Query Targeting ratio alerts included a reference to the query shape that caused the alert to fire. This would assist customers in locating the exact query/queries with poor targeting ratios so that they can be optimized in a more expeditious manner.

Webhook
Hi MongoDB Atlas Team,
Some of enterprise customers are left out with improper monitoring via Webhook to ServiceNow (an ITSM tool). Can you please improve on it so right set of fields can be included like "Priority", "Service", "Assignment Group" etc. other details which can be filled up via dropdown or entered manually so alerts to generate incidents via ServiceNow.

Varun

Ability to invalidate or revoke a X.509 certificate that was not expired.
Currently, X.509 certificates can be issued for authentication and authorization. However, it is not possible to invalidate an already issued certificate. In a situation where the certificate would be compromised, it is therefore not possible to invalidate it and re-issue a new one. The only way is to delete the user associated with the certificate and create a new user account (New CN).

efficient backup restore between MongoAtlas Projects
Hello,
currently, when we restore a SNAPSHOT from one cluster to another cluster in the same MongoAtas Project (example from "production" project to "production" project), this is very efficient (several minutes).
On the other hand, if we execute the same backup restore from one cluster to another cluster on another MongoAtlas project (example : from "production" project to "staging" project), this is much less efficient and it will take several hours (instead of several minutes above).
This is very efficient in the same MongoAtlas project because it will use cloud provider system using hard disk management.
Could you improve efficiency…

Multitenancy of the billing section in MongoDB Atlas
Hi MongoDB team,
as the organization owner I don't want that my organizational members (developers, project owners etc.) have access to the billing section. Currently every member (independent on the granted rights) has the rights to see the complete billing section and can see the whole invoice incl. the names of the projects. This isn't acceptable regarding compliance because we are working together with external companies and their colleagues shouldn't have the ability to see all invoices.
Please make the billing section of MongoDB Atlas available to handle multitenancy - so that only the organization owner can see the billing…

Cloud backup for m0 instances
It would be nice and convenient if lower-tier users could have the cloud backup option available (I believe m5 is the smallest but it's $9/month). I use m0 for one of my projects and I know mongodump is an option but I would much rather pay $1/month extra for backup capabilities. This project is quite small and I don't need much resources, but I would like the ability to scedule daily backups for a small fee.

Snapshot cluster and copy
In one click I would like to copy the exactly one database and put it in another cluster. This is especially useful for debugging.
This would allow us to easily recreate the database from our production cluster and put our staging (or other possible clusters) cluster into an exact state to help replicate issues or bugs.

Improve online archive Status
add more to the status of the online archive - for example, if I set it to 7days back it's good to know that currently at 80days.
An example: for a very big collection it takes long time to archive - so either show a % left until it caught up or show number of days currently at
other nice details: number of documents archived, archive rate, etc

Allow more aggressive downscaling of clusters
Autoscaling clusters down a tier doesn't seem to work very well. Even under rather low memory usage, it doesn't seem like the procedure really ever triggers.

As a Collections tab, aka Data Explorer, user I want to view, search for, create and update UUID and GUID field values
The BSON spec includes support for UUID values, also known as GUID values.
The format of UUID values are defined in rfc4122.txt. For example,
f81d4fae-7dec-11d0-a765-00a0c91e6bf6
Users would like to work with UUID/GUID values in Data Explorer as a fully supported data type, including search support in the RFC layout, ability to create new document fields of type UUID, support for UUID type _id fields and the ability to edit UUID values in existing documents.
The mongo shell documentation provides this example:
UUID("3b241101-e2bb-4255-8caf-4136c566a962")

Ability to create more than one index at once
We have migrated a huge collection with nearly 100million records into Atlas. It takes 3 hours to add indexes to it using the rollover strategy and we have tens of indexes to create.
It would be great to simply define all indexes once before starting to apply them.
