Capability to add additional labels to Charts
Dear Charts Team,
I need to add additional labels to a Geospatial Scatter Chart such that I can display additional information about each datapoint.
The need arises, as we want to create a report, that allows the user to get an overview of the single data points as well as relevant metadata without the need to lookup this information in an additional table / connect to the Cluster and investigate the rest of the necessary information.
The project that I am building is an internal project thus I am using the sample Airbnb dataset to make an example.

Add US Counties/Parishes/Boroughs to Choropleth Shape Schemes
We could use a little more granularity on the Choropleth Geospatial Chart. We'd like to be able to look at a single state, and denote values of each of the counties, parishes, or boroughs of that state.
This feature is currently available for the UK, but not for the US.

Grouped stacked bar chart
A bar chart that can be both clustered and stacked simultaneously expands substantially the analytical possibilities (as it allows the visualisation of additional fields/variables). It seems to me that such a chart cannot be generated in the current version.
Congrats to the MongoDB team for developing Charts. It is an extremely useful resource.

Option to identify "now" in a date chart
In a scatter plot, when one of the axes is a date, add a formatting option (on/OFF) to add an indicator of the current instant (now) on the graph or axis, if it's on the range plotted.

Second number on Text -> Number
Let's say you have a list of emails from multiple mailing lists but you want to see the count of all emails and count of all distinct emails from the same KPI.

chart view rename
Currently we cannot rename chart view (before UI update, we can do it. so this is regression issue). But we sometimes change settings and/or pipeline of chart view. Then I want to rename the chart view.

Connecting AWS Costs and Bills on Atlas Charts
I don’t know whether this can be a feature request or something already present in Atlas but I don’t know about it.
I have a Peering Connection with my AWS account on my Mongo Atlas account. Recently, I saw that Atlas launched a Billing dashboard to monitor your Atlas Costs over a range of time. Does Atlas have some plugin or feature where we can import only the costs/billing data from our AWS account (one connected with Atlas using a Peering connection)?

Allow us to use paste to put numbers in the min and max values in filters instead of having to type it in.
The min and max fields in the filter do not let you paste a number. I happen to be using millisecond timestamp numbers and they are long. It would be great to just paste them in from the epoch converter or my database fields.

Use NUTS2 or NUTS3 codes for European countries
It is better to use official NUTS2 or NUTS3 codes and names for European regions as they can be matched with statistics.
That will be better than regional abbreviations you found on some random pages. European regions are standardized by their NUTS codes.

Charts Click-event exposed in Atlas Charts UI
Use Case: Building an Extended Profiler with mongod log data.
The right-click event maybe satisfactory if it is added to the expanded view, and the scatter plot point is anchored so that after you are done with the data view pop-up, you can quickly see what point you clicked.
The other option, possibly better is to expose the click-event that is already there in the SDK but make it available in the Atlas Charts UI. A couple common actions could be keeping/expanding the tooltip onClick, or open another window that is tethered to a field or the entire documents data,…

On Heatmaps can we have a logarithmic option on the Intensity 'axis' please?
On Heatmaps can we have a logarithmic option on the Intensity 'axis' please? I have heatmaps with a few very large counts that effectively cause the variation in the majority of smaller numbers to be obscured in the intensity representation. A logarithmic option would allow the smaller numbers to show more clearly. (It is hard to do this in the data source, as the count is being performed at chart level.)

Set format for duration values for the Number chart
It'd be great to have the possibility to format numbers as duration values. For example:
I have a "Number" chart where I show the duration of some activity. I store this information as minutes and it'd help if I could select the format to show as h:m for example. I haven't found a way to use duration in a nicely formatted way as a simple indicator widget like the "number" one.

UUID fields are not getting parsed correctly
Charts does not seem to support UUID fields and applies some sort of string value to it that cannot be encoded into UTF-8.
That makes it very hard to ping what is the exact documents they are associated with if we use that field for grouping.1 vote -
The ability to add a spider/radar chart
For our specific chart requirements (comparing different entities), it is imperative that we are able to plot the multivariate data in a spider chart.
I have read on the developer community that "...we are also planning a spider/radar chart in upcoming months." (dated 1 May 20) but since then I have been able to find any other reference wrt the realization for this feature.

Get the fields corresponding to a Max/Min document
When I view the max/min aggregate in the charts, I would like to see the corresponding document's field. For example, I want to visualise a table like below,

server to database drill down for Ops Manager metrics
When looking at server charts in Ops Manager METRICS, it would be good to have the ability to drill down to the database level. For example, I can easily see #connections to a host via Ops Manager UI. But, I want to know which databases in the cluster are being connected to, and currently, I have to mine the mongod logs for that.
